I'm about to upload some work I've done offline, it's really good stuff....

PLEASE NOTE:

You will need to download the most recent forge and import into your module, it was missing the Item Changing Anvil (which goes in the same area as Furda), also it will fix the item changing forge, as I had made some mistakes there, it's fixed in the updated download...

According to google.com, the file service you use to distribute your files is known to distribute MALWARE - you really should use the nwvault instead of these other services.

Wasn't aware that they had malware on that site...


If you used MVPS.org you would never get malware / spyware / ads / popups, this completely blocks 99% Ads / Popups, which is where that junk is coming from!  Trust me I'm a tech of many years, mvps works wonders!

This is how it works....

  Where I agree that _guile should use the vault or even this site here to host his downloads, Your argument is not a good one.  If you check the same report for the vault:  http://www.google.co...nwvault.ign.com you get just about the same report.

I Myself gave up on downloading his stuff long ago to look at, For the simple reason that he scatters it all over the net.  Just take that as constructive criticism _guile, it is not meant as anything else.

I've never used any of your stuff before. What exactly is it? The problem with it not being on the vault is that it doesn't have a handy description page to let me know if it's something I'd use or not...

If you read the analysis on zShare it reads:

Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware?

Over the past 90 days, zshare.net did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites.

As I had to open a new account as someone hacked my email account of 15 years....

Essentially I have taken a lot of my work and rescripted it, which includes multiple systems...

I've integrated 4 forges into 1 script routine, and about 12 + Conversations into 1 script routine.

When I say script routine, I mean I'm using multiple includes and the same scripts for all conversations....

Which in turn trimmed 2,000++ scripts down to 500 scripts or so (not sure on the exact count), which is quite amazing considering the amount of content and resources in the content I have provided...

Finally, if you look at the Genisys Forge you will see just how high quality the work is, indeed it's tier 1 in my book...

NP all, I just have this habit of checking URLs before I click on them (especially if an unfamiliar site). It is nearly certain the malware flags are actually associated with advertising (hence even google is carrying some of the malware ads) and it is (kudos to you Guile) a good practice to block all ads for this reason if no other. Sheesh, hacked your email? Miscreants everywhere.

Hmmm, not really familiar with these forums to be honest, a little help?

Under the "My Content" menu to the left is "Projects" Go to that page and at the top will be a "Create Project" button.

I recommend creating different projects for each different *thing* you are making, as each project is limited to 10 (10!) files for up/downloading. So create one for your forge, one for the character creator, etc...

Putting images (though they are limited in size) is *very* convenient for adding the pics to your posts ;-)

You might also want to create a "group" to associate them all with, Guile's Goodies perhaps :-) The Group gives you other options and gives you a convenient tab that lists all associated projects.

He's pretty swamped at the mo. BtP did a *lot* of work that suddenly Maximus has to shoulder, in addition to his regular stuff. Working on it, though :-)

I uploaded an updated copy of my new forge, this one has the fixed edition of the item changing forge in it..

If you guys run into any bugs let me know, cause I'm not sure if this content is up to date or not..

I cannot find all of my most recent work, unfortunately...

Thanks Guile I will be going through all the new stuff you posted to the vault. I wanted to also point out that when using things from the vault especially older uploads,it is best to test them first in a separate mod. I have found at least one set of items in prefab that corrupted my mod. Granted I take full blame for it happening as I did not take the time to test it out in a separate mod before I used it. I will be reporting the post that is corrupted to maximus as soon as I can figure out which one it was. I have narrowed it down to two erfs so far.
I really enjoy your work guile and look forward to going through everything and seeing what I can use. Trust me I’ll be using a majority of your work for my mod.

(I also seen one of my modules get corrupted, and that was because I was trying to integrate SimTools w/ my Chat Tools System, which is in the Integrated System Resources & Most of my work BTW...)

I'd like to elaborate on the Integrated System Resource, which is an extensive work of mine, which basically took a lot of systems & conversations and integrated them together to greatly reduce the number of scripts used for all systems... (I'm sure there still may be some errors somewhere so if you guys find them I'll be happy to fix them, no problem)

Anyway here is a drawing of how the dynamic integrated conversational scripting system works...



As you can see from the drawing, I used some redundant scripts to set access the main include which in turn sets variables and does the necessary actions for each line in the conversation, the section number script and conversation number scripts sets a variable on the User so that the includes know what conversation and area in the conversation the user is in. Pretty simple yet fabulous system I might say..
