I'm having an issue with registering my game.

I bought it about a year ago and tried to register it then, but it said "invalid code". I just left it not caring too much, but now I'd really like to post in ME2 forum and it's really erking me that it wont accept my code.

If anyone can PM me if they are able to help me with this, I would be VERY thankful!!

EDIT: I have also registered the game on my EA account AND recovered my 'Cerberus Network Code' if that helps. It's just the serial number that doesn't seem to be acceptable.Image IPB

I have the exact same problem, I just bought ME2 for xbox 360 a week ago and I cannot register the game, it is annoying the heck out of me also.

Jade, the typical thing would be to suggest that you try inputting all the numbers if you haven't already done so. If you have and the game still isn't registered then it seems your only recourse is to contact a mod and see if they can rectify the situation for you.

Hezz, ME2 is showing under your avatar so yours is registered at the time of writing.

Same advice to you then, Hezz; though I'm not sure you'll gain much from doing so.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and start reading. There's a huge list of mods down there. However, due to the nature of mods I would suggest EA_Jace and EA_AgentX as they're the only ones who occasionally pop into the console tech boards that I am aware of (though technically I think any mod can do the same thing for you if they know how to and wish to).

I messaged EA_Jace a couple of days ago. And also messaged Stanley Woo who told me to email accounts@bioware.com. I did that like two weeks ago and still nothing.

PS: Who did you message?

Still nothing.. Maybe there's nothing they can do.. But they should still reply saying they cant do anything. Maybe I should just walk into a store and write down a serial code from the game on the shelf. But trying to do the right thing u kno?

I got the same problem here.
Bought ME2 during last year STEAM winter sales.
When i want to register ME2 here at Bioware, it says my code is invalid
There is only a Cerberus key and game key given to me and i've tried using these two keys, both are invalid.

I've contacted EA, who told me its not their problem and i should go to Steam.
Contacted Steam, told me its not their problem, i should come here for third party support.

So who should i email or PM here for help?? :(

Aside from you posting in the wrong boards, this is a 360 tech board and not PC, the suggestions to resolving the issue (for console owners at least) have already been made.

With PC games typically it's the codes included which are used to register the game. From my own limited experience it is a CD key. What the Steam equivalent of that id I have no idea.

The vast majority of issues with old games are likely to have been solved, so mods are probably unlikely to enter the tech boards as a result. Few of them post here from my limited experience. If you are hoping a mod will just read your post I think the chances are slim; be better off just contacting a mod.
