EA is in business to make video games not pander to 2 characters fan bases with a game . Mass Effect 2 had a great squad and now that is being pissed a way.

Right, so we have established that EA (and of course Bioware) are in business to make video games (the implication being in business to make money from video games). So exactly why do you feel qualified to tell EA and Bioware that they have made a bad commercial decision that will cost them lots of money? Does it not occur to you that they would have looked into the likely financial and sales impact of development and story decisions they made in producing ME3? Somehow I rather think they are in a better position to judge what the majority of the market wants than one embittered fan. Don't like ME3? Don't buy it. And don't bore the rest of us with your infantile whining.

This developer likes listening to fan feedback. It needs to deal with being called out on its bull sh*t .  Oh I see so all those who whinied and complained about Ashley williams and got their demands answered was ok . When someone calls Bioware out on its clear crap about the ME 2 squad  in 3 is not allowed . I think that is wrong and highly unfair .

Dude. If you seriously think that listening to feedback about one squadmate = listening to things they should do with the whole previous squad, then you're just deluding yourself.

Except you don't represent the community. You hold your opinions in highere regard than everyone else's, then ****** your huggies when you're "ignore". I'm a fan of this series I'm happy with everything I've seen, why are you a better judge than I? A vocal minority doesn't represent the population, just look at the Tea Party in America.

I find Bioware's gloating over how they abandoned any creative integrity to force Tali onto squad bizarre. Me3 as the final part of a trilogy will sell well of course, long term implications for their reputation are less certain.

As opposed to forcing, say...Miranda into the squad?

Contriving reasons to keep those 2 on the squad whilst also delivering huge character story development to those characters strikes me as desperate attempt as appeasement over creative integrity. I'm disappointed Miranda isn't more involved considering what a huge part of the story they are making Cerberus & TIM. If they decided none of Me2 people  should be on squad because of the could be dead mechanic i'd be disappointed at their lack of forethought regarding SM but ultimately accepting that all were being treated more fairly. If that was the case i think they would have put some effort into temps rather than what appears to have been chucking resources at Tali & Garrus while sticking their fingers in their ears and hoping to get through the storm regarding treatment of the others.

She and Jacob are heavily involved and get plenty of time. Both of them are directly connected to the Cerberus plotline. They are both squadmembers and will span many missions and planets.

No they are not. Miranda has excluded from the Cerberus arc and completely sidelined into a sequel to her loyalty mission which has been twisted to have a joke Cerberus dimension.

You'd think this sort of thing would pop up after the game's release.

But no, I know the internet too well to believe that's true.

Well to be quite fair, Tali and Garrus did get a little sidelined in ME2, you had maybe one conversation before and after their loyalty missions if you don't romance them, which I was pretty pissed off about. So as fans of both of them, I'm happy they're getting more attention.

But at the expense of Miranda or Thane? or Jack? Is it really worth it? I understand WHY it's done, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Jack is present too. Doing something characteristic, yet uncharactistic of her. Plus it's halarious when you bring Garrus into the squad with her.

As of leak yes. As of final game who knows but there's been zero evidence of change from leak so far.

Last I checked even if X is mad at you and joins up with Y, she's in your squad during the final showdown with Y.
(As to the identity of Y, he's a mean son of a **** with a sword and a lot of Anderson hate. Trying to avoid spoilers I only read a bit and saw too much.)

By the way, Tali and Garrus are pretty important to their respective conflicts.

Most members of the ME2 squad aren't.

Of course they're 'important' and the other characters aren't. You ****** off to them.

At least try to hide your biased opinions if you insist on posting them. Yes I know, when BW unzipped their pants you gladly went on your knees for some mayo, just so that she can be a squadmate in ME3. You Tali freaks will do anything.

Wipe your mouth.

Yeah, Jack wasn't really a good example. From what I read/heard, she's actually doing pretty well.

I agree with Biobleh. The 33% fans who have gotten what they wanted could care less for other 66% of the fans. This attitude is selfish and despicable. Instead of lobbying for all characters to have a substantial role the dismiss everyone else with "deal with it". I wonder would they be as composed were the tables turned.

*Beep* Wrong.

If you have read about it, read it again and read it carefully. She's in there for a reason that connects her with Cerberus.

There's nothing wrong with getting what you want
There's nothing wrong with not caring less about those who didn't
But if you feel compelled to rub it in, prepare to get flamed

I find it quite hilarious how those who are preaching 'my character is more important than yours, deal with it' from their Westboro Baptist Church-esque high horses all have their favourites returning as important characters in ME3.

Nope she's not. She's there solely for her personal reason as of leak. The joke plotting that connects her to Cerberus plot is just that.
