Okay guys I played the demo, ( Because im awesome ) and I thought why not list some quick notes and impressions. I don't mind answering any questions.

~ Bioware was NOT joking when they said ME3 will be alot harder. You know how in ME2 you could just patiently pop off enemies even on insanity. Well, no that does not work anymore. Enemies will literally run up and flank you from the side or in my case ( A centurion literally rollin next to me and hitting me with his electric stick thingy )

Yeah, so i had to put it off insanity and try veteran. Again, this is more challenging than ME2's veteran becuse enemies move around alot more.

AND THE MOST ANNOYING ENEMY GOES TOOOOOOOOO

These guys

Yeah, not only can they deploy 1 or 2 turrets. But they can repair them :pinched: I think the developers enjoyed making thse guys as enemies.

Also, at first the Atlas boss fight felt cheap but i adapted. You have to be aggressive and utilize your squad mates or you will die fast. You're actually forced to get out there and be aggressive on the higher diffculty since things are alot faster paced combat wise.

There is also alot more dialogue than what we saw in the leaked beta. im not spoiling or repeating anything i heard. that'll be a surprise.

Unfortunately, i have no happauge or anything like that. so no footage or pics. sowwy:devil:

One thing I want to know is how often the enemies get up in your face, because I personally am not a fan of shooters where most of the enemies just seem to always get up close or try and charge you or where there's big ape-like things that run directly at you and do massive damage, etc. Husks were already annoying for this in the previous two games, and one of my biggest concerns is that rather than being smart and tactical, it's just about swarming you with as much stuff as possible in close. In a game that's supposed to be about ranged combat, I'm not a fan of this happening too often, and find it just annoying and cheap rather than challenging. So... please tell me ME3 isn't like that.

I'm very concerned about this, too, and these early reports are definitely not quelling my fears. Thank goodness for story mode. ME3 sounds like one annoying OP enemy encounter after another.

Of each faction, only a couple enemies deliberately close with you (about 20% of the enemies in the game, roughly)... a lot of how the enemies respond to you depends on how you're playing.

Pretty much all of the enemies have weaknesses built into them, if you take advantage of them you can change the outcome of a given fight rather dramatically.

For example... the engineer, he's annoying, he deploys turrets and heals other mechanical units. But, instead of just killing him if you blow up the turret on his back you can cause a huge explosion that will damage everything around him. Or if he miraculously survives the explosion... he now can't deploy any additional turrets...

Guardians are normally really aggressive, and will slowly advance on you as long as they have their shield... but if you can flank them and knock them down - they'll lose it and become just like any other cover taker. (Or if you're a biotic, you can just rip the shield off).

There are numerous ways of dealing with most of the enemies, it all just depends on how you're approaching a given combat - the same tactics won't work for every fight.

Ooh, first class might be infiltrator, then. Cloak to an engineer's back...  the possibilities.

Not to mention sniping the Guardian through the eyeslot in the shield... probably one of the most satisfying things as an Infiltrator. :o

Playing the demo now, it doesn't feel mass effect to me, shooting seems sounds wierd and I can use throw about 15. Times in one minute. Idk maybe im brings **** but im not liking the changes so far. Kinda feel like whatever EA gets there hands on they destroy by trying to make it too mainstream for all newcomers.

I believe the way it works is the heavier your guns/armor are, the less often you can use those powers.

^ Really? I guess I'll carry only my main gun and a spare when the game comes out then XD

Yeah as a vanguard I just carry my shotgun (primary) and a submachinegun (backup). I keep them both modded and tricked out.
