Singularity+Warp is awesome to see  Stasis was also surprisingly useful.

Wait.  So Adepts now have Stasis as a non-bonus power?

Can someone tell me if this hair style is available for femShep in the demo?

No, I spammed the crap out of Liara's.  Much more useful than Warp.

I heard somewhere that all the hair styles from the contest were available in the demo. So that's probably a yes.

I may try the single player demo now, I wasn't going to before because in a sense i didn't want to have spoilers but it seems worth it.

Of course it is.  I still don't understand why the didn't just give this power to Adepts in the first place.

What mission is the second one, the Surkesh where you save the female krogan?

I'm not a believer in difficulty but I won't shy from a challenge as long as the story is amazing and keeps me interested, this will not be a problem. I just need to find my class....probably infiltrator again but perhaps a Vanguard like I was in ME1 or an adept for the powers or a soldier for the health though I'm doubting it. I'll have to play to find what I'm best with.

As for Kinect, I started to use it on Earth and quickly stopped in Sur'Kesh due to the speed of the combat and my own frustration.  It worked okay but the power wheel was the faster and easier solution in many a case.  I wanted to use it more but when I got into the zone, I just stopped.
<snip>

I was going to say, that combination would be pretty crazy with kinect I imagine. :o

Yep, same as the leaked demo and what they have shown off at E3 last year.

Man... I just watched a small HD clip of the demo. The auido is impressive and the soundtrack recalls me a lot to ME1.
Bioware has done a fine job on this aspect of the game the truth is that I'm surprised.

One thing I noticed was there are still pre-reqs for powers! (Like need 2 levels of pull before you can get Warp). I thought this was going away. :(

Its not like in ME2 - in ME3 to unlock some powers it is only required to reach certain character level of your Shepard.

Flanking enemies is fine; but I hope that raw aggression isn't the right tactic in every situation.

Finding a good position and holding it should also be the best tactic sometimes. If not sniping is going to become pretty redundant.

I would also like to add that there are minor consequences/variations in gameplay. In one playthrough I didn't shoot all the husks and Anderson commented on it compared to my second playthrough. Another variation is on Sur'Kesh and I took too long to press a button and more Cerberus troops came in. As you can imagine the second time I did it, I went straight to that button.

There are still two things I'm trying to figure out.  The first is how to leap over things without going into cover and the second is how to blindfire.

It was pretty fun. You could customize your character before you started,  which was cool (More hair options is nice, although seems to be same facial hair). 1st mission was the same as the beta with a few tweaks to things, the 2nd mission started the same but cut out a decent amount from the beta. Had a fun time.

Just finished the demo. That was awesome. Now I can't wait to play the pc demo. I can tell it has been a while since I last played a shooter with a joystick.

Combat is fast paced and very fun. The ability to roll between cover is useful. I played on normal, and from what I can tell, being aggressive and charging the enemy is only useful when you are facing a couple of enemies. The new melee attack is very effective, and fun to use. When fighting large squads of enemies though, holding back and playing it safe with cover is the way to go. I also really like ai improvements for enemies, it makes the combat even more action packed.

Too bad there wasn't much story in the demo. It was just enough of a teaser to make me crave for more. The wait till March 6th is going to be brutal.

I was really enjoying that until he put the cat on, I know humour is subjective, but really?
