Warp definitely works on armor. I have Liara use it on the Atlas and turrets after stripping their shields.NICKjnp wrote...
I think warp might still work on armor and barrier though. I'll have to take a look.

Overload -> Warp will wreck those turrets so fast. It really reduces the headache.

I ran through the demo with adept today on insanity and a maxed out warp going for damage as recharge is screwed due to the loadout. I'm still not convinced that you need both warp and throw when throw can detonate. The one advantage I suppose warp has is against protections. I also noticed a warped target glows blue for a while after being hit presumably indicating it is still vulnerable to extra damage. I am tempted to ignore warp and run with a maxed throw, shockwave and singularity as my goto powers.
All I did was max out singularity and put 1 point into grenade. Extra points went into Biotic Mastery, so I had 8 sec cool down on singularity in the demo. Totally owned it, died maybe twice on insanity.
Also with warp ammo from liara put on squad use... extra damage to all those affected by biotics, man can't wait for full game!

Well, here's what I got.
Pros:
Great graphics.
Great sound.
Larger ammo reserve in weapons, and more ammo given per clip.
Better leveling system.
Much better AI, henchman weapons don't seem to be nerfed as bad as ME2.
Better enemy variety (I love those Engineers, they're actually a pretty good challenge).
Faster load times.
Good animation overall.
Improved cover system.
Cons:
Rushed intro. Needs more context, exposition of past events, and maybe make it playable like ME1's intro on the Normandy (before Eden Prime), say from the point you first meet Vega up to the point you get to the briefing.
Some awkward dialogue, Wrex speaking with Wreav's voice over the radio.
Some poor animation (sprinting is robotic, Shepard's hand misses the gun model when applying ammo power, Shepard's eyebrows going spastic during Anderson's "the s**t you've done" line, etc).
Cover system is still a little buggy. Very hard (if not impossible sometimes) to snap into cover perpendicular to the POV, or behind the POV.
No omni-directional sprint.
POV remains facing the same direction after a roll.
Shepard moves too slow while walking compared to ME2. I feel like I'm moving though waist deep water.
The detection and selection radius of interactive objects (medigel stations, mods, armor boxes, etc) is much too small, especially compared to ME2. I have to be right on top of an object before it will display its information and even closer before I can pick it up.
As part of the above, I sometimes will roll when trying to interact with an object. Rolling in any direction should require a double tap of the A button.

Trick?
Yes, well from what I understand if you shoot the turret on their backs, it explodes, does massive damage, and they can no longer build turrets even if they survive...
