Yes it is always there in its gigantic glory clogging up the screen...

Well that's silly.  There's no reason to clog up the screen with the health bar and shield indicators when you're not taking damage.  

I think this merits a thread.  Particularly since its the sort of thing that they still have time to change between now and launch.

First and foremost I wanna say this Demo is ......... Incredible ...... Hard to explain in words, the Kinect integration is amazing and what I like most about it is the fact that you can call out any ability and it will utilize it, like you can map any one ability from teammates to the d-pad like Mass Effect 2 but with the Kinect you can just say any of their powers and it'll be used even their positions on the battlefield , its like a hotkey to all the abilities in the game, one question Jarrett about this demo though I would like to know is there is an Error message that pops up saying The Mass Effect 3 Server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later, also when I click on multiplayer which I know isn't active until the 14 (I think or 17?) It's says Welcome to the Alliance Network You must create an Origin Account (EA) or log into an existing one etc then the error message pops again, is this demo also for multiplayer ?? Is it the early access demo that battlefield 3 players will also have ?? Cause I thought it was only a single player demo

I think you're missing the point. it wasn't *what* he said so much as the elitist tone with which he said it.

Which sounds better?

or

the first one mentions that the hardware is the limiting factor. the second one, which is what he said, just makes him sound rude--he disparages the console without citing a reason.

I happen to be a Xbox 360 user. I play on the new Slim. I get annoyed by PC players who act holier than thou because of their chosen platform.

as for the person who mentioned the EA servers-year you're probably right. I noticed that. 'Alliance Network'. guess we know there will be a 'Cerberus Network' type thing in ME3.

Also really disapointed that so few enemies have kinetic barriers. I know it was the case in ME2 as well but it's a dissapointing recton.

That's why I can't wait to see a PC demo with 60fps at 1080p!  Hope the textures hold up!

MP is included for everyone on the 14th but if you preordered BF3 then you get MP on the day of release on the 14th to get early access.

Ok finished second playthrough. Much more positive in regards to combat. Infiltrator is God-Tier. Again. Seriously Disrupter Ammo is absolutely amazing now with the stun. Still died but I breezed through Sur'Kesh. Also absolutely amazing going into repeated Cloaks right after each other. Spawn-killed entire mobs. Seriously why would anyone be Adept when Liara has the best biotic power anyway?

i love that kind of strategy planning, no deciding where resources go, or what unit goes where . . . just "we fight or we die" . . . "best" strategy ever

reminds me of Halo 3 when they ask Miranda Keyes where the squads should go and she says "To war" . . . terrible orders

I agree.  I owned a PS3, gaming PC AND a 360 (sold the 360), so I am an agnostic gamer.  I don't understand platform wars as they are just tools used to play games?  "Hey, my hammer crushes that nail better than your hammer!"

Anyway, that being said, I hope the next gen consoles come out soon so game developers will start to catch up to PC hardware.  The current crop of games are indeed gimped for consoles.  I expected it, but it stinks for those of us that do invest the cash in gaming rigs.

Here's hoping ME3 playes flawlessly on the PC!

Its true; but its also a troll.

Saying,...  "Nah, Nah my PC is more powerful than an Xbox" is a troll comment and it only incites pointless played out Console Vs. PC arguments.  Console vs. PC is a fruitless discussion.   New gaming PCs are much more powerful; but there are a lot more people who have consoles than who have gaming PCs and as a result most games are designed to play on consoles.   These are the facts, there is no point in debating them.

By supporting his point or arguing against it you're just playing into the troll.

Anyway, beat it on Insanity. Fun, but clunky. It will take time to get used to flipping around everywhere and having so many effing commands set to A. sprint, cover, flip - really?

Good demo, knew what I'd get out of it. Time to play it over and over now.

I was not trolling. Just stating the obvious for the people who complained about the early Xbox ME3 demo saying that the graphics looks bad. Why should i sugar coat the Xbox 360's hardware into something its not? Ever heard about a PC user going out to buy 7 year old graphic cards? 

Statement: It looks bad because its running on 7 years old hardware. Should be obvious...

Similar to ME2, more hairstyles (think I saw 5 more for Male shep, fawhawk, emo, slightly longer buzzcut, Monk cut)

More beards, including the infamous neckbeard. No full fledged manbeard though.

I hoped they would extend the hotkeys.

The cover and the barrelroll is assined to the same button!
I hated that in the "secound" game. I HATE COVERSHOOTING AND THE BARRELROLLS!!!!!!!!!


I am a bit confused is the story mode equal the RPG mode but with "god mode" gameplay? Like ME 1s casual mode with the soldier class(god mode)?
