Why play an adept? You get more powers and the ability to arc them. Why not play adept?

One thing I want to know is how often the enemies get up in your face, because I personally am not a fan of shooters where most of the enemies just seem to always get up close or try and charge you or where there's big ape-like things that run directly at you and do massive damage, etc. Husks were already annoying for this in the previous two games, and one of my biggest concerns is that rather than being smart and tactical, it's just about swarming you with as much stuff as possible in close. In a game that's supposed to be about ranged combat, I'm not a fan of this happening too often, and find it just annoying and cheap rather than challenging. So... please tell me ME3 isn't like that.

First and foremost I wanna say this Demo is ......... Incredible ...... Hard to explain in words, the Kinect integration is amazing and what I like most about it is the fact that you can call out any ability and it will utilize it, like you can map any one ability from teammates to the d-pad like Mass Effect 2 but with the Kinect you can just say any of their powers and it'll be used even their positions on the battlefield , its like a hotkey to all the abilities in the game, one question Jarrett about this demo though I would like to know is there is an Error message that pops up saying The Mass Effect 3 Server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later, also when I click on multiplayer which I know isn't active until the 14 (I think or 17?) It's says Welcome to the Alliance Network You must create an Origin Account (EA) or log into an existing one etc then the error message pops again, is this demo also for multiplayer ?? Is it the early access demo that battlefield 3 players will also have ?? Cause I thought it was only a single player demo

MP is included for everyone on the 14th but if you preordered BF3 then you get MP on the day of release on the 14th to get early access.

You said MP is included for everyone (meaning the every who got it from expert zone ?) on the 14th ?

I liked the demo a lot...noticed some things I missed before. A cerberus trooper actually rolled out of the way of my incinerate which was cool how the AI has improved. They no longer just stand there and take it :) Also the cooldown increase from carrying too many weapons for your class can get very long. Played through as an engineer and took like 30 seconds to cast another drone.

So decided to mess around with the Vanguard on Insanity.

Good luck to whoever tries that. You're going to need buckets of it.

You could call out commands via Kinetic? LOL nerdmania. All we need now is someone to secretly audio record some fat basement nerd playing ME3 with the thing, and then put it up on youtube.

Hopefully the embarassment will compel him to kill himself.

2 questions:
1) Can you use weapon bench in the demo?
2) Can you change weapons?

I couldn't find a workbench but I did find some pieces of armor and weapon mods. Also you cant change weapons...which stunk on classes like the adept where your forced to use 4 guns that make your cooldowns very long.

So is this demo on the PC, or when will I know whether or not BioWare has committed the ultimate sin of not including simple key bindings for bringing up the journal and codex and squad screens?

If it is..just change the difficulty. Or try story mode. The game is going to be harder regardless. There are difficulty settings for people who want more of a challenge.

The thing is, I would like a challenge to a degree. I just don't want the game to be cheap to do it. So many games seem to get "challenging" and "frustrating" mixed up.

Ok, i havent played the demo, but to review just a small critisism from some of the videos ive seen.

I liked Clint Manswell's earlyer version of the "Kid in the vent" music that was shown in earlyer videos ( like around E3). It had more power, this one just seems bland in comparison..

Seriously? They changed it? Damn... :(

Reminds me a bit with regards to Thane in ME2. I really enjoyed Keythe Farley's performance throughout ME2 as Thane, but I always thought the original lines after he introduced himself to Shepard were better in the E3 footage, moreso because they were delivered with better timing, IMO. Ever since then, the scene in the final game when playing feels rushed and off to me.

The hairstyles for femshep was kind of a letdown. I remember the devs tweeting that there would be longer hairstyles for female shepard in ME3 but all the ones in the demo are still on the bun/bob end. I wasn't expecting really long, but more along the lines of what we've seen on Ashley and the new default Femshep.

Would the full game have more choices or this is what we'll have to choose from come March?
