I have one more spare download code for the demo.

Rather than give it to the person who PMs me the fastest: the person who solves a riddle (PM me don't bother spamming in here) will get it.

Appearing one, but many concurrent.
Memory many times your multiples of eight.
Familiarity ascertained. Analysis recurrent.
We fight our own. We do not infiltrate.

What am I?

Udina?

Geth....

Winner. I'll send you the code via PM. To confirm, it's for Xbox 360.

Edit: Sent.

Finished the demo. Wow, it's incredible. You could tell which music cues Clint Mansell did. They were overpowering. Had to stop and just listen for like... ten minutes.

Now you know how the PC players felt with the change in controls from ME1 to ME2

One thing I want to know is how often the enemies get up in your face, because I personally am not a fan of shooters where most of the enemies just seem to always get up close or try and charge you or where there's big ape-like things that run directly at you and do massive damage, etc. Husks were already annoying for this in the previous two games, and one of my biggest concerns is that rather than being smart and tactical, it's just about swarming you with as much stuff as possible in close. In a game that's supposed to be about ranged combat, I'm not a fan of this happening too often, and find it just annoying and cheap rather than challenging. So... please tell me ME3 isn't like that.

I'm very concerned about this, too, and these early reports are definitely not quelling my fears. Thank goodness for story mode. ME3 sounds like one annoying OP enemy encounter after another.

Yup, the AI is INCREDIBLY aggressive. But, I value a challenge.

I can see a lot of people doing their Insanity run on Story. I'll do it on RPG like a real ME fan would.

Hmm - my first hands on impression is that it has gone from 31 to 40% in the time I have watched it.

Will prob rock in MP as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if for the Gold Medal run-throughs of the maps if you saw a lot of Infiltrator only teams.  It works very very well on the higher difficulties.

I'm seeing four infiltrators cloaking simultaneously and the battlefield goes still. "Where'd they go?"

Then heads start exploding as shotguns and snipers go off.

Heh I was more imagining

'Where'd the go?'

4 Omiblades apear right infront of the goon

'FUUUUUUUuuuuuuu'

Allow me to explain in more detail why the Infiltrator is easily the best class now. So I shoot one guy, stun him due to Disrupter. I then Cloak and go up to another enemy and blast his brains out with a shotgun.  It also seemed I could get multiple shots off while cloaked.  While the first enemy is recovering, I can have Liara Stasis him while I go after a third or Cloak again and shoot him in the face. I roll back and take cover for shields to regenerate. I then repeat the process all over again.  The Cloak CD for the first time is ridiculously fast.

None of the classes can work that well. I doubt even Vanguard will play that well either due to how thin the shields are. Disrupter is also so much better with the quick stuns. The best defense is really not to be seen as even in cover your shields can get chipped away. Soldier can't be out of cover long enough to do serious damage and Liara has the best biotic ability thus kinda neutering the Adept class.  I didn't mess around with the Engineer long enough but I had a feeling drone was going to be useless again so I stopped so it's possible.

Oh and if one of my squadmates goes down, I just Cloak and go over and revive him without being shot at.

I came! Every game wether it's Mass Effect, COD or Team Fortress I roll the sniper due to sheer godliness.
You have just justified my choice and I can't wait to continue my Infiltrator play-through

You Can't Hit What You Can't See ;)

What is the vanguard melee attack like? And for the matter, is the sentinel melee the same stupid double fist or something else?

I assume that the Vanguard melee is the same as the Adepts. If so, it's like a huge biotic punch.

Not sure about Sentinel, but Infiltrator also has the OmniBlade. So odds are Sentinel does too.

I thought that is not possible. Besides that doesn't make any sense.

I just played the demo after winning an early access code from an app on Facebook. Rather, I played the first portion of it. I don't want to get ahead in the story or spoil anything after what I already (unfortunately) know about the intro. But man...the Earth bit...Was incredible to me. Absolutely incredible. I also heard that it isn't even the final version of the game. This is going to be one for the books. Hurry up, March 6th!

I won a code from that Facebook thing earlier today and I've just finished my second playthrough. It's absolutely incredible, although they weren't lying when they said Insanity was going to be harder! The AI is aggressive and they can take a lot of punishment. This makes the other 2 games feel like a stroll in the park. Almost died as much on that one mission as I do in a single run of ME2.

Need to train myself up before March. Can't wait! :D
