It's definately not a scam. It's been tweeted about by Xbox's head of social marketing. It's just stupid and annoying.

This primary function of this contest, if you want to call it that, is to raise hype.  The only thing it's doing for sure is raising my blood pressure.  They want you to share this to your friends; not happening for most people I can garantee that.  If they gave me a free code for sharing this with say.....20+ friends or so I would've done it in a heart beat.  That would be a great incentive to actually promo for them on facebook.

Like you said the only thing building is rage.  Just seems stupid to me, if they're doing promos and giving codes away, and the demo is ready to go, just release it already.  I bet a lot more hype would generate from people telling their friends about how good it is and getting them to play it. BAH!

Yeah that's crap, you should have won. I almost don't even wanna bother now. Bad enough its totally random, but even if you do get it, you're not guaranteed a code? pfft. Im out.

As was pointed out, in the fine print it says prizes are awarded randomly. I think we are all agreed that this is a dumb promotion.

First try I got 3 matching numbers and nothing. Second try it flashed up that i'd won and then wnt to a white screen. I click to view my code and i just go back to the white screen and now i'm locked out after 2 trys.

Guys just keep at it, I actually made a second facebook account to double my tries, and it worked. Every time you lose sucks, but just keep going back every couple hours and you'll probably get it.

Also, go ahead and try that code if you want, but I doubt its universal and I already redeemed it. But if in the amazingly unlikely chance it does work, awesome.

you have to allow the app to post stuff on your wall, i had the same white screen in chrome
