In my Shepard's perspective (being a colonist and war hero background) Batarians are pretty evil. Plus that jerk bartender who tried to poison me. Jerk.

Asari: art and culture oriented and business oriented with some big ships for defense
Turians: war oriented
Krogan: war oriented
Human: war oriented
Batarian: war oriented
Quarian: war oriented
Volus: don't know much about them... merchants are all we see
Salarian: science oriented
Elcor: merchants but we don't know much else
Hanar: religious oriented but just as corrupt as everyone else
Whatever Krios was: don't know much about them
Vorcha: vermin

Aside from Asari and Salarian, I just don't see many redeeming qualities out there, and among those two there are just as many problems as among the other races, so not many redeeming qualities among any of them. So, I just think we should blow up the Citadel and every single Mass Relay in the Galaxy and be done with it. Shepard could do that. Shepard is good at blowing up stuff. No more Reapers, no more galactic civilizations, done. The radiation should take care of the rest. I wonder if there's a button somewhere in the Citadel that does that?

God damn you're depressing. "Ooh no one's perfect so lets just destroy galactic civilization. That should fix everything!" Man I hate quitters. 

I know two people who in RL, if given a chance, would blow up all humans becuase 'we suck'

When I ask them about specific and why, they ignore me, but it shuts them up with their stupid idealism rants.. So yes, plenty of idiots out there.

I don't really hate any of the Mass Effect races as a whole (individuals are a completely different matter). But there are cultural attributes of some races that makes me leery of them as a group. The Batarians and their institution of leagalized slavery and quasi-legal piracy, is a good example. Or the Quarians, as much as I sympathize with their current situation, play the victim card a litte too much when it comes to the Geth.

But overall, from what I've seen in the previous two games, there are good folks and total as**oles in every race.

There is not a single race in the Galaxy which I could really hate. Batarians WERE mistreated poorly by the Council after the Relay 314 incident when they tried to make fast friends with the newcomer Humans. Its natural for them to bear a grudge against Humans and the council. I can' t think of blowing up the Asari seeing as my male Shepard is dating the hottest Blue Asari chick in the galaxy. Also I like Wrex, Garrus and Mordin too much to hate their respective races. Really the only group I want to end is Cerberus...A Shame on the name of Humanity...and Of course the Reapers.

Regardless, I hate everyone. However, I dislike the Vorcha more, followed by the Quarians.

Still, I rule genocide out of this, I don't believe a species deserves to be conquered or destroyed. Batarians just need their heads from their asses.
