Hey guys, I really wanna know what is the difference between the standard Mass Effect and the classics Edition, because I noticed that the recommended age for the classics one is 12.
If anyone knows, please help me out a bit. =] Thanks!

there shouldn't be any difference, the only reason it was called a classics edition because it was a big hit on it's original release.

Thank you guys. I thought that there might be some scenes removed or something, since the standard edition is rated mature.

I know that my ME1 classics Edition came with a bonus disc which contains documentaries, soundtrack etc., which is pretty cool. In addition it has Bring Down the Sky DLC on the disc itself (i.e. don't even need a code, as my copy was 2nd hand and it installed fine). This is on the Xbox 360.

I'm not sure the standard editon contains all that.

I think the reason why the classics edition is 12 against 'Mature' for the standard edition, is that the classics edition contains live action content (i.e. documentaries etc.), therefore falls under the scope of the bbfc film classification system; whereas the standard edition does not contain this, and so carries the 'Mature' videogame specific rating. Just a thought.

So you have the version rated 12? I'm really sorry if I'm being annoying but I just want to make sure that there won't be any scenes missing or anything like that. I've already played the game on the PC, but I want to buy the classics Edition for my xbox.
Thanks!

Yes, I'm in the UK and I have the version rated 12 - the Xbox 360 classics edition. It's the first version I played, and I'm pretty sure it has Liara's sideboob in it, so I don't think they cut anything B) .

I've since played half of the PC version, and I haven't noticed any diferences.

The classics version is the one to get - you can pick it up for only a few quid on the 'bay'.

Beware that Inventory management sucks bad on the Xbox, classics version or not!

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll definitely get this version then and replay it before the third game comes out. =]
