As an Italian i might guess that this is a counter-measure of Gamestop Italy to compete against Amazon Italy that was selling the ME3 Collector Edition with Gamestop supposedly exclusive goodies at a lower price than Gamestop itself. Now the prices are very similar due to high demand it seems...and Gamestop came out with this...unfortunately only for Xbox..kinda sucks being a PC player

Burst into Gamestop stores, screaming in what you think is broken Italian (when in fact you are mostly yelling random Italian foods) and demand the Ubercollector's Edition.

The "Codex Notebook" is probably blank, the ship is sold here on BioWare Store and everything else comes with the CE Edition.
