Does the game take away your chances once you got a normandy code? I'm being forced to wait 2 hours to get the chance to get a demo code now and its really annoying

Dang. I didn't know what to do at first so I was at the decoding screen and didn't realize it and I pressed the decoder button on the bottom and lost one of my 3 chances of winning :/
