I had no issues with this game previously but hadn't played it in about 6-8 months. I was showing my son Dragon age I on the other computer when I became nostalgic and wanted to play Dragon Age II on my own. Problem is, I forgot that I had switched internet service and had a new Email account. It took about an hour of searching and finally a call to tech support, but I was able to get my account straightend out for my new Email address.
I propmtly downloaded the latest patch and got ready for a stroll down memory lane.....however, everything works fine in the game except for the dialouge volume. Accoriding to the sound settings, it is turned on and at full volume but you simply can't hear it. Even with my speakers turned all the way up they sound like faint traces in the background and you can't make out what they are saying. All of the sound effects are fine as are the visuals and game play.....

Is this a patch things or did something happen whn they switched my account over?

Did you try enabling "Force Stereo Sound"? Or is it already enabled?

Many people have fixed similar issues to this with enabling this option.
