found this book from the mad hermit and this silk carpet that have been eating precious inventory spacwe forever. Are either of them usable plot items or are they money equivelents like gems? Or are they good for something too?
is this stuff good for anything?

Silk Carpets and stuff like that are just vendor trash, not sure about the book though.

The book was a part of a different decision you could have made at some point. But at this point it's likely worthless. The Silk is just vendor food as far as I know.
