"i don't mind high textures, mods will give us later..."

Guys c'mon, is their job to give us a game complete from the start and not something incomplete and say "you guys can finish it up right?".

I'm not paying 80$ on something + 60$ on shipping costs and have to wait 4 weeks to receive the game and not having the basics for my plataform (ME2 on PC was ridiculous) just to wait someone, months later, with free time and a good heart, do it for me.

It's their ****ing job, they are the ones proposing to launch their products on this plataform, and so they should do it and i expect a damn good product.

You can argue that the sells on PC are the lowest from all 3, that is only around 15% of total sells and so on, but its still some good 15% and it is enough money to be worth the work time.

If the PC demo don't have the basics for PC (with that i mean use the ****ing keyboard and mouse) among other stuff, i'm not gonna cancel the pre-order, but it will be the last time for a Bioware game for me, torrents are there, so close and fast,

I have already excludes Ubisoft from my wallet, wouldn't like to do the same with Bioware.

All the others stuff comented here like the acess to demo earlier and so on, i dont mind, they have their partnership with microsoft, and so be it. Just make the game run how it is suppose to on each platform.

You DEFINITELY are. It's absolutely 100% undeniable.

Everything from Kinect, to the squad (all ME1 when PS3 players canny play it), the exclusive DLC, the early demo access.

It's ridiculous even denying it tbh

So it's somehow all BioWare's fault that PlayStation Move doesn't feature voice-integration? Kinect does, and the developers felt that combat voice-commands had something new and fresh to offer the franchise. If Kinect were on PS3 and Move on the Xbox, they would've done the exact same thing, except in reverse.

It's simply taking advantage of the hardware functionality for a given platform...nothing more, nothing less. It's not BioWare "ignoring" PS3 players, or anything else that's ridiculously being suggested in here.

Also, as for ME1 itself -- Microsoft owns all the publication-rights to that game, not EA. So there's about as much chance of that title showing up on PS3 as the Uncharted franchise getting released for Xbox 360. And "exclusive" DLC is released by Sony for its platform as often as it is for Microsoft's. There's no real argument to be made, there.

Because Move is the closest equivalent to kinect. What, you thought BW invented kinect just for ME3?

PS3 also has PS Eye.

Bioware hates ps3/pc owners so we get the shaft. I can't even play the demo until the 15th because for some strange reason marketing thought it would be a perfect idea to have the game come out on valentines day. Why not the day before so people with girlfriends, wives, or both can still play the day it comes out? That's why I'm so upset that there's no way for ps3/pc users to get early access. Seriously, at least having something so we could get it on monday would show that they don't completely despise our existence.

God, I wish I had your problems.

Anyway, to your question, they don't ignore it, the thing is they have a good relationship with Microsoft and they probably want to keep that relationship going.
I'm a PS3 player myself, I know how you feel, but at the same time, little bit of patience gets you somewhere :)

... "a good relationship with Microsoft" - yeah right, MS is where the money is !

About better textures for PC.

Engine Bioware uses for ME3 does not supports Direct X10, let alone X11.

Also, people who can have X10 and X11 are a small market.
Most people have weaker PC then you guys.

So making Texture Pack would have been unprofitable for Bioware.

It does suck that other platforms don't get the early demo.

Texture resolution has nothing to to with DX.

Eh, mass effect romance is way easier. I actually have to be nice to my girlfriend, as shepard all I have to do is talk to whatever woman I want and they instantly fall in love.

I wish we had a form of early access(pc) for multi-player. I REALLY dont want to play single-player to spoil anything but I know myself well enough to know I will download it and play it on tuesday if I dont have option of multiplayer.

Unreal engine MAY support dx 10/11. Mass effect 1/2/3 does not, its direct x 9. You can play it on windows xp/7 and it wont matter.

Previous mass effects(at least 2) did have higher textures. The "cinematics" were higher polygon count. You can enable it in a config file so it uses the "cinematic" textures all game long.

Other platforms should have just as much chance for early access as 360 users. It's really not fair to you guys.

But, you have to remember that this series was originally intended to be an Xbox exclusive, only ported to PC by popular demand, and ME2 was brought to PS3 by popular demand. Microsoft had their hot little hands all over this franchise from the start (and still retain the rights to ME1), so of course their platform is going to be favored. Early PC access is being restricted for hacking concerns, from what I've heard (just hearsay, I have no evidence on this). Not saying it's nice or fair, but saying that's how it is. Corporate shenanigans suck.

I feel for you guys, though, I really do.

The game is complete... we get the same textures everyone else does...  later on down the line someone decides they would like even higher textures, so they make it. Your argument is more like if someone built 3 houses, and you buy one, and your neighbor builds an addition onto his 3 months later, and offers to build you one for free as well, and then you throw a **** fit because "the house wasn't complete" without it or something equally insane.

Except that the textures only have to be crappy in the first place because of console limitations.

So a more apt analogy would be if you were rich but were forced to buy and live in a mobile home because everybody else around you was poor. ;-)

Actually, I believe EA acquired the publishing rights when they bought BioWare (the PC version of ME is published by EA alone, with no involvement from Microsoft whatsoever).

But ME is too old for them to ever bother (and they'd have to use the newer engine, and it would probably be a ton of grunt work to adapt all the old content).

Quote from Unreal Engine page:

Unreal Engine 3 supports Direct3D 9 and Direct3D 11. Direct3D 11 allows
the utilization of new hardware features like tessellation. This
implementation supports flat and smooth tessellation (PN-triangles). The
tessellation level is adjustable and view dependent. The tessellated
mesh can be further manipulated in the material editor for static or
animated displacement effects.

I never said the previous game used either dx10 or dx11, I just corrected what Mesina said.

Microsoft is simply doing marketing for ME3, in no way is Bioware ignoring pc/ps3 players, we're all getting to play the multiplayer at the same time.

sorry if i offend, but some of your replies(mostly all) are considered by me straight trolling, give a real reply to those who wanna know 'why', because right now ea and mostly bioware are really acting this way, u cant probably not see it because u work for them, again nothing against u, but replies like the one above are not acceptable...

am I annoyed that I get no early access as a PC player. yes. but that's minor annoyance... compared to the fact that x-box users can get IN game unlockable content that is not hardware dependent (aka doesn't require kinect) Am I annoyed that I don't get the same preorder onus as people shopping with gamestop? slightly yes. but all will be forgiven if bioware makes all of those dlc's available for all, whether at a later date, or for separate armor pack purchase, etc. limiting in game content by platform is just petty.

edited.  quality of PC port is very much a valid concern.  its not that hard to bind journal to J.  after all - they did it in ME1.
