Why would anyone start ALL the way over to a new game when everyone gets knocked unconscious? You just start back where ever you saved last(its smart to save often while playing). Also thats what injury kits are used for,to heal wound's you recieve from being unconscious.Thier is no real death for the OC or his companions so your post is totally ridiculous.
actually it is not totally ridiculouse it is just a different way to play than you do. As for injury kits they do no good if your entire party has died. Your only options are to start a saved game or start again. I would pointout that once you have played through the game you have to start all over again as it is unless that is totally ridiculous to you as well.

well I only do it when the entire party dies at once. Since in theory even if they were just knocked out the mobs would then kill us all as we laid there.
I gotta give you some credit - you take Role Playing to a whole new level!macayle wrote...

I finished the game first time with an elementalist mage without partywipeouts and very close to finishing the second time without maincharacter dying ... it was my second goal.

It would not be fun for me, but if it's fun for you, then carry on. I can't imagine having a go at a boss character on nightmare and restarting 60hours of gameplay just because my entire party gets stunned for 10 seconds and can't do anything.
I dont think any of us playing "iron mode" would do it on hard or nightmare. I´ve used the normal setting constantly.

Anyone remember Diablo II's hardcore mode on Battle.net? If your character died, at any time, for any reason, it was instantly and irrevocably gone for good, along with all your equipment and inventory.
Yupp. Crazy **** right there.
