Yeah I agree, all in all the hair looks a lot more natural now. ME1 and especially 2 it always just seemed to look very plasticy and rigid.

These better not be all the options in the full game. It's ridiculous that Dragon Age 2 has so many more options for the face editor - I don't see why we are limited in ME3. For example. all those modded hairstyles from ME2 are no where to be found but obviously people wanted to use them.

okay.... who let  vampire shep out the coffin this is what i mean  if you go to pale she looks like vampire if you even try to add alittle color you get dark skinned{ not black but the coloring is messed up in the demo} and i hope this isnt the final selection they told us there be alot more hairstyles

I'm guessing they decided to axe the long hairstyles at some point in development (replacing them with the "long hair tied up in a bun" hairstyles.) It's unfortunate, but I think I can understand the decision from a character/storytelling point of view (Shepard's a soldier, generally long hair hanging lose would not...exactly be a great thing. Miranda wasn't a soldier, Ashley isn't presently in her armor though if her hair doesn't get wrapped up in some way during combat later on it is a little silly). It still would have been nice to see more, but eh, I'm satisfied.

I was really hoping this FemShep would had been in cycle of the other femsheps, sucked none of the other femsheps got added. Same thing for the hairstyle. Alas least the hairstyles in the demo are way better than previous mass effect games.

I really, really like the third opition in game. On a more positive note than 90 percent of this thread, you do have a larger list of hair colours now, from white, to different shades of red, to purple and even pink. Pink hair looks silly, but you can have a dark purple that looks great. These are only for femShep though, options for maleShep are really lacking apart from a few new shorter hairstyles.

Default femShep is likely modelled after a real person, and that's why her hair isn't a option for custom, same as default maleShep.

Yeah I'm liking all the different color options now. For my MaleShep I gave him a sort of dark grey color so it looks like he's sort of aged from all the stress of the past two games.

I don't mind the lack of the promised long hairstyles but why did they have to ruin some of the old styles? The buns look weird and lumpy-headed and I don't like the stray hair thing in the ponytail at all because I bet they're going to look like sticks that have no movement at all. Buzzcut time, I guess.
