I have been following the tutorial for making a custom follower. After placing the way point in my_char_stage, the turorial says to add the following to my module event script. Other tutorials say not to use module_core or to use a  blank script or choose "none" for the custom module's script under "properties"  in manage modules if it extends single player. I understand that there is a string of problems if ones uses module_core.  I asume that module_core is the event script that the tutorial is refering too. So my question is what module script am I suppose to use? Some say to copy the demo module script by Bryan Dersken but when I do this I get error messages. If I create my own, what do I need to put into it? I know  that I need character generation, partypicker, and I think EVENT_TYPE_PARTYMEMBER_ADDED?  Would anyone be willing to show me your script for your custom follower modules or an example so I know what mine should look like?

Sure, no problem. The tutorial has all the complete scripts that one would need to add a follower. You simply plug in your follower's information in the scripts and they are ready to go. I found it very useful, and I hope you do too.

The other follower tutorial has some great pictures to help you see what you need to do. I think the two follower tutorials together fill in holes that the other may not cover as well. They compliment one another. So here is the first one I was following. You might try reading both.
