This game is ridicliously hard.

You're complaining...that the highest difficulty in the game....is hard?

Exactly, do these people not understand what insanity is? Should it be simple? Personally ME1 and ME2 Insanity is too easy. Its good this is tougher.

All these unnecessary abbreviations. Had to look up what the heck OTT even meant.

"Insanity is too hard!" o_O

That's like saying "Insanity is too insane!"
or..
"I want to get the acheivement for completing game on hardest difficulty, but it's too hard."

It.. baffles the mind.

People, read the OP before calling names.

He/She is addressing gameplay mechanics that prevent even a competent player from controlling Shepard and squadmates effectively to meet the challenges of Insanity. And I think those are valid concerns.

I just hope the final game release won't have similar problems described by the OP.

Insanity mode for ME3, was somewhat easy. I've beaten the demo twice on insanity mode and maybe died 6 times total each time. I mostly died on the mech battle. The trick is to kill the foot soliders first and keep the mech far away and shoot parts of the mech from a corner. Overall it was somewhat hard.

You can't just run out in the open, nor can you sit still, because if you sit still they will throw
grenades.

So Insanity is FINALLY somewhat insane and... that's a bad thing?
Maybe you should start at hardcore to get a better sense of the games mechanics, it usually helps =)

anyone notice that accuracy while zoomed is better while in cover, but when your outside of voer your weapon becomes as unstable as my butt after taco tuesday.

as if being in cover wasnt enough of an easy mode, we gotta be worse outside of it for no reason.

I'm sure it's been pointed out already, but just to be clear: Insanity is the highest difficulty possible. So it's a bit redundant to say that it's "too hard".

It's punishing if you're still getting accustomed to timing and tactics, but afterwards few experiences are as rewarding.

As for cover controls and responsiveness, I hope to see improvements in the final product.

If there are AI glitches that sucks. However, Insanity actually being hard is a good thing for those who want a challenge. I don't know why anyone would expect the most difficult setting in the game to be anything other than difficult.

Well, there's hard, and there's hard because you are more at a forced disadvantage.

Like not having a sniper rifle for an infiltrator.

Or having too many weapons for a class that needs less for cool downs.

Or not allowed upgrades in a game designed for them to be used.

The easiest setting should allow the player to run through the game occasionally blinking at an enemy to win.

The hardest should make you fearful to load up your game.

From my limited demo trialling, they nailed the difficulty settings in non frustrating ways - you feel satisfied when you get past a difficult place.

Lock the Insanity for the first playthrough, like in ME1, problem solved. And make it unlocked after beating the game, or entering a code. So general folks dont have access to it a first time, unless they really wanted to.

When the game will be out the real bwaaah will start, about how the game is "too hard".

That gameplay isn't on insanity. Vanguard playthrough has enemies without shilelds. You still believe it is insanity? I don't.

Not all enemies have Protections on Insanity this time around- I just got done playing Vanguard in the demo, and Infiltrator before that. Judging by this, basic mooks are vulnerable to biotics and the like straight away, but are physically tougher, more intelligent, and more versatile (frag grenades, smokescreen, stun batons!) than in ME2 to offset this vulnerability. Heck, I even saw one of them dodge Garrus' Concussive Shot!

Wait you mean this game will be even more of a challenge than the last? I'm expecting Dark Souls level difficulty.

Insanity in the demo is on par with insanity in ME2, but not quite as frustrating (immunity spam) as in ME1. I found the last fight to be the only really frustrating part, but I think that is mostly due to room in which in you have to fight.

I just beat it with only 6 deaths, it was much harder than ME2.

After playing the demo on Insanity, I can definitely say that I can handle the full game on it, kiting the Atlus was easy, even managed to break through it's covering, didn't get to climb in though, it was either the mech or me because I forgot to make sure the pilot was dead first.

Well in my case I'd finished both GoW and Halo Reach on their highest difficulties alone, so take my assessment with a grain of salt depending on what that may mean to you so far as shooter skill goes.
