No, a Chainsword.  While we're at it, every gun should get a Bayonet and it could be a screw driver or a kitchen knife.

And soda can silencers.

But you can configure if you want gore or not, am I correct?

I don't have problems putting new things in games as long I can configure them.

And to be able to vault kick somebody on the other side of cover, although the omni-blade stab looks more awesome.

I'm all for blood and gore.

This isn't Modern Warfare 3. This is an ADULTs game.

Blood and gore doesn't make a game mature.

Didn't you know? "Maturity" on the internet is defined as "condoned immaturity."

I guess i just don't think a game like ME really needs it. I mean, I don't wanna jump to conclusions, perhaps this is part of a renegade system or something. But it just feels off to me and like it belongs more in a GoW game(both Gears and God). I guess I'll get used to it; I just feels like its just there for the shock value.

Hey I'm just trying to fit in the BSN whiny ****y jumping to conclusion crowd, don't blame me :P

what do you expect Bioware to do I mean Mass Effect has always been the red headed step child when it comes TPS game combat next Gears of War games's smooth and perfect gun play . so I am not shocked they stole the gore from Gears . if you have always been ****** poor at something might as well steal from the best in TPS Games

War is hell, if you dont like violence, a game involving a galactic war may not be the best idea.

I don't think you guys actually realise the massive difference in Gears' gore to ME3. In Gears people get gibbed and splattered all over the place, in ME3 you've just got these decapitations.

I shot at an enemy's head with a sniper rifle and it exploded.

I am pleased.

I like it. The occasional head 'splosion from a headshot is satisfying.

Truth is, the gore is only marginally more graphic in ME3. There was gore in ME and ME2, just maybe not as often as there seems to be in the third one

It's fine to me... I remember bursting someone to bits with a biotic charge... makes Shepard feel a lot more powerful.

[b]Edit: what I'm trying to say is; does my Shepard really need to kick
off the head of a former human being?

Yes, because that is extremely badass and cool.

I am almost certain the german version will not feature this increase in gore, thus I will not see it ever ingame.
Yaaaaaay... ~_~

From what I've seen I like the level of gore. It looks appropriately violent for the act of shooting someone in the head; but not too gratuitous or nauseating.
