I don't think you guys actually realise the massive difference in Gears' gore to ME3. In Gears people get gibbed and splattered all over the place, in ME3 you've just got these decapitations.
What do you guys think of the gore increase?

From what I've seen I like the level of gore. It looks appropriately violent for the act of shooting someone in the head; but not too gratuitous or nauseating.
Just wait until you shoot the head off of a husk and it keeps coming at you...

...Because now, my Paragon Infiltrator will have more "bad-ass" kills in game than my Renegade Soldier.

Though, its most likely a nice addition, Shepard has quite a few reasons to be pissed by now so hes/shes just going to start taking it out on the reapers.

In Gears of War you can literally tear off a guys arm and beat him to death with it.

I love doing that. It tends to result in death most of the time though since it leaves you exposed.Slidell505 wrote...

Awesome, Awesome! Awesome!! AWESOME!!!!
Shepard curbstomping is the LAST thing I expected to see, but it's none the less the one clip I keep watching repeatedly because it's so brilliant... and he almost seems like he's enjoying it. And look how he just lifts the husk up with one arm and tosses it down like a ragdoll. Shepard is really strong... O.O

And getting impaled by a banshee? My god, I cringed. But Bioware said these games were gonna have big dark moments, right? Stands to reason that death scenes were gonna be proportinately darker too.

That better be a death and not just an attack. I know in DA2 you impaled yourself with your staff while using bloodmagic. Not sure how that works, or is even close to practical.

Could be a 'mini boss' and Shepard used himself (inflicting grevious bodily harm on himself) as a decoy while others attacked from behind...? But that sounds cheap. Though I am a fan of the impalement, and if you look, it seems like Shepard is actually puking out blood with it.
That. or it's an avoidable melee attack. The Husks seem to ravage and rip you to pieces if you're not careful or let em get too close. That's where the curbstomping thing comes in I believe.

I am almost certain the german version will not feature this increase in gore, thus I will not see it ever ingame.
Yaaaaaay... ~_~
The German version is rated 16+ and EA stated it will not be censored. Looking at these pictures one could guess that one of these will not stand.

I was just about to deny that 16+-point, but, holy cow, you're right. Well... good for us then. ^.^

Yeah those poor husks, how dare he kick them... seriously...?
Husks are unintelligent undead monsters, it's like kicking a rock and somebody complains you about it...
And those cerberus guys, well theyre not exactly human either... without saying anything more to spoil here..
It's more like kicking a rock that's running at you trying to kill you to death.
