On Anvil of the Void, if you don't take oghren with you, you can still have him in the party by switching to another charactor and holding the party at the entrance. it seems as long as the main charactor doesn't cross the party locking spot you can get him with you. i got there without him, held the party and with lelianna, walked around and grabbed the loot from the dead dwarfs. thats when the branka cut scene came on and all four of my guys where there and oghren too. later at the final anvil battle oghren showed up again and fought with us. then after in the town, he was still with me, all five of us.
