The combat is so much fun now, I cant wait to play MP. The gun sounds like they have a kick to them, the chatter during battle is authentic, and the whole Mass Effect universe is just waiting to be explored. I cant wait for March 6th.

I just think the intro is completely rushed.

Dude, if you love Mass Effect, you will wet yourself.
I disagree. It's subjective. I noticed several changes right off the bat that would make a few people grumble.
It was a great demo and I'm looking forward to ME3, but I wouldn't say it was spectacular or anything. There was a lot I wish they didn't or did do.

And I would have to disagree with you disagreeing with me :-) lol respectfully of course. In my own opinion, they took everything I liked about ME and made it much better. I am very happy camper. Super pumped to be super pumped about a videogame again.

Yeah, seriously. It's been a perpetual issue. Honestly, ME2 was a worse offender in this regard IMO.

Yes, as opposed to ME1 and ME2's intros. ME3 it takes about 15 minutes before you're sent off to collect all the races.
In ME1, it takes a couple missions before your sent off to the main questline. Same in ME2.

SPOILERS
There are required places you go after leaving Earth, it doesn't give you the option to choose where you want right off the back. Just like ME1 and 2.

Hence the part where I said it was subjective. I took a small ping of offense to the "if you like mass effect, you WILL like the changes" implication.
But I'm glad everything is to your satisfaction.

Aaaactually, contrary to Anderson's dialogue there's more early-game railroading than ever before in ME3. Which it sounds like you and I will be happy for - but many BSNers might not be.
There's plenty more post-Earth that needs to be accomplished before select-your-planet formally begins, unless a lot has been altered from the leak.

This is false, about ME3 I mean.
Earth in ME3 is basically Eden Prime from ME1. What Eden Prime was for ME1, is Earth for ME1.
Once you've finished Earth, you're not yet going to collect races right away. You'll go to Mars first. After Mars, you'll go to the Citadel. After the Citadel, you'll start collecting allies for the war.

Yeah. At least ME3's intro is more interactive.
With ME2's intro, I'm usually stepping away to make a sandwich or something.
