Just because BioWare doesn't come out and confirm every little suspicion does not make it a confirmation by denial. But I'll end here because there's no need to go in circles with hyperbole.PoliteAssasin wrote...
People are assuming it was cut out based on a outdated script. There's no evidence to indicate it was. Unless bioware comes out and says that the auto dialogue can be selectable in retail game, it's there. Since they're obviously not going to say that, due to it being prevalent in me2, then its safe to say Shepard is doing his/her own thing now. Welcome to gears of mass with Marcus Shepard.

The only disappointment to me was we didn't get to test out the weapon bench or swap weapons. That and the shield/health bar needs to be lowered on the screen.

Truth is nobody knows...we very well could have the entire game with dialogue like that. If so thats MASSIVE blow to what made me enjoy the game. I can't imagine this series without the dialogue being the way it was. It defff does feel like Shepard is his own person. In ME2 it was extremely rare to only have 2 choices...and even when it DID happen it was the 3rd or 4th part of a conversation.
I just pray to god they made it that way for the sake of the demo being about showing off the game itself rather than dialogue...
I have seen it and I'm telling you there isn't. There's missing exchanges, but that doesn't mean there's more selectable dialogue. A lot of the dialogue is automatic.

The hub area let you have converastions with in it with Wrex, Karriki, a stg agent and Mordin. It's clearly all the proof I need.<_<PoliteAssasin wrote...

The leak didn't have more options. The leak only had a hub area that was cut, if anything this demo had an extra option on earth, but there was still a ton of auto dialogue.

That's because the rule is a very real thing. There's only so much content you can put in a demo so it's totally acceptable that they would have to cut certain things out.Fiery Phoenix wrote...

Besides, demos are to get a sneak peak at gameplay, not so much for getting a sneak peak at plot points of a game. We also have to remember that part of the demo size is taken up by the Multiplayer, which just isn't activated yet.

Yeah, classes with powers struggle heaps there.

Your post is laughable at best. I've seen the beta leaks, the automatic dialogue on earth is exactly the same in both beta and demo. What original demo are you referring to? Because it isn't the leak from last year, and it isn't the demo released on Friday. Please do post links.

Javier, I agree with the point you're trying to get across but I do agree with Polite that the level of auto-dialogue in the 'cinematic scenes' we were given in the demo is much higher than ever before and that is somewhat alarming.

I'm not referring to earth. I'm referring to the salarian home world part of it. There you can talk to Wrex, Karriki, a stg agent, and Mordin. They're lengthy, and in ME2 style. Did you miss that part of the demo.PoliteAssasin wrote...

For the record, I also agree. Shepard shouldn't talk unless I tell him/her what to say.
