I've seen playthroughs of the demo and it looks absolutely amazing - I'm psyched.  Only thing bad I have to say - and it pains me to criticise this - is that the character creator is wierd for femsheps.  I don't like the new hairstyles and there's something odd about the eyes.

Yes, I found that too :(

Did anyone here find the parts lying around in the second part of the demo, i found a data pad with 2500 credits, two weapon mods, and armor, any idea about those??

Is it just me, or is there no sniper rifle in this demo? (Except the one Garrus has, of course).

The controls needed some getting used to in the beginning, but after a while, it went smooth. Overall, I loved it. The graphics and scale are amazing. I especially love letting Shepard do an air flip when jumping down, by simply rolling forward xD He actually lands on his feet then lol. Awesome. Anyway, I've tried 4 of the classes and they all play fine, but very different.

I loved the way everything was set up. The pacing is perfect, especially in the first level. The voice acting is phenomenal and a clear improvement over ME1 and ME2. The size of reapers.. I could stare at them all day xD And glad to see they added kids in the game too. The second one was more action oriented, which in a way is a good thing because I don't want major spoilers.

I still have some complaints though, but the following will probably not be an issue in the full game. I know the mission on Sur'Kesh was to allow you to experiment with your powers and with different weapons, but, because each class was forced to carry so many weapons without the possibility of un-equiping them, classes like the Engineer and Adept were gimped because their recharge timer was atrocious, and you had to heavily rely on shooting. It was hard to test the powers themselves out. And in the tutorial level all but two of your powers are locked... And where is the sniper rifle? Kind of undermines the infiltrator. Not that I mind, not a big infiltrator fan, but I'm sure others would've liked a sniper to be in the demo.

I also encountered a bug on that same level where the Mattock assault rifle disappeared. Just visually. I could still equip it and shoot with it, but it was invisible. Or is there a special secret power that your guns cloak away? xD After climbing a ladder, it suddenly popped back into existence. Not a major issue, but remarkable nonetheless. Only happened once and couldn't replicate it, so yeah.. Dunno what happened.

I also wished a bit of weapon customization was in the demo. You can find some items that indicate that weapon and armor customization is the game, but it would've been cool to see it and experiment a bit with it. I also missed interruptions, to see if/how they changed, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. Guess I want to see everything lol xD Just excited to know as much as possible I guess.

And lastly, conversations had only two choices throughout the whole demo. I don't know if this is because it was a demo or not, but I do hope the full game has 3 options most of the time, more similar to ME1 and ME2.

It was good, but in cut scenes it's like shep doesn't need me anymore - chatting away with hardly any input required from me, and on the rare occasions I am prompted both responses are practically the same!
Is it like this the whole game?

I heard a rumor that the demo was locked in at 60 fps. Is that true?

That is how some dialogue is, other times there will be more options. It will be a more common occurrence and I'm actually happy about it, one less choice isn't always a bad thing.

Yes they do. It really bothers me, and so does the lack of facial expressions.

One thing that I really liked is how smooth is the transition between cut-scene and gameplay... the camera just move back to your shepard and in a moment you are in control.

And I'm assuming by expressions you mean out of character creation.

I'm honestly hoping there's more to the opening of the game. Really. It feels like something is honestly missing, just popping out of the hologram in the Alliance Ship. It doesn't go over any of the trial except for a throw-away line on the walk to the committee. And that's not enough. I thought we were supposed to get a look at cities around the Earth, according to C. Hudson. Seems like an actual trial for Shepard's actions would be a nice way to get new people into the storyline, as a good little summary of the last two games where you can make decisions or comment on your reasons behind those decisions.

I dunno. Feels rushed. Gameplay doesn't look terribly difficult, and some of the cover animations are jumpy; they go straight from cover to standing without a smooth transition. It's bad. :/

Also, when Shepard jumps off of a ledge, he just seems to float down. It's awkward looking and unrealistic. He lands like a feather, too. This is mainly evident on Earth, straight out of the Committee room and the ladder Shep slides down right after. I'm hoping the graphical incongruities are fixed in the final release, because even Me2's combat-movement animations were smoother. At least, on PC they were. I haven't played ME2 on Xbox in a few months, but I don't recall it looking worse than ME3 demo.

I would have liked to choose only 2 weapons for the second level to reduce that awful cooldown.

Well I would've like a semi-trial with sheperd answering difficult questions about being with cerberus and arrival to a group of high ranking officers and admirals, it wasen't done. I do know what you mean you want to get more of that close to home feel that "earth" feel so to speak.

I'm pretty happy with everything. I just can't get enough of the music, too. That scene with the little boy is so much more powerful with that music. Maybe a few more dialogue options would be nice but I don't think the demo represents what the full game will look like.

And I'd also like to say, I'm SO happy about the Story mode. I've been trying to get friends and family to play this game but the combat is too much for them. I will always play RPG, but now I actually have the chance to share this experience with people other than gamers. So thank you Bioware.

Yeah - I thought originally there was going to be an opportunity to explain your actions and get a bit of an idea about whats been happening since the end of ME2 etc - it does feel like there is a lot missing at the start - tutorial or no.

Yeah! I love the Story mode! I think that is the most fantatsic implementation we've had in games for ages.

I will do more than  few playthrough's in story mode.

I agree that part is a little worrying. At one point (where you are talking to anderson on the normandy) you give the same reply no matter what you  choose.

That's ME1 mistakes there.
