Actually now, I have to wonder how it's going to play out if ANYONE died. That scene with Wrex, Garrus and Liara was great little banter. I'm curious to see how it will change depending on who died.

Truth is nobody knows...we very well could have the entire game with dialogue like that. If so thats MASSIVE blow to what made me enjoy the game. I can't imagine this series without the dialogue being the way it was. It defff does feel like Shepard is his own person. In ME2 it was extremely rare to only have 2 choices...and even when it DID happen it was the 3rd or 4th part of a conversation.
I just pray to god they made it that way for the sake of the demo being about showing off the game itself rather than dialogue...
Mac Walters was actually asked about the dialogue on his twitter feed:
It's rare to only have 2 choices. We aim for "minimum" of 3 in most cases. Of course sometimes 2 is all you need.
So, there you go.

Thanks for the civil post. Was this tweet made today in response to concerns about the demo? Or another time?

Hey, you wanna be condensending and call me out for being an "optimist" on something I do know for fact but that you insist that I'm wrong about, you'd better expect me to have a bit of an attitude about it.PHub88 wrote...

"The Citadel? The fights here!"
I never thought my tactical and critical thinking canon Shepard would say such idiotic things. At least make the auto dialogue somewhat intelligent, please.

I liked it, but it seemed like nothing changed too much when you pick 'numerous losses'... and the rolling into cover is hard to get used to.
im not saying this to be a douche but the rolling is simple i dont understand how people have such a hard time with it honestly.
as far as it being similar to the last games regarding diolauge i do agree with you on that.
and despite polite assassins little rants without playing the demo people need to chill out and play it themselves

Sorry I'm just not buying that they cut dialogue choice out in favor of a more streamlined demo. Unless bioware says that they have auto dialogue because it's a demo, it's in the main game. This is very disappointing to roleplay a character for two games only to have that character do his/her own thing in the final game. Everything else looks good, why did they have to do this?

I hear you. I trust AVPen as a source though. But I'm not seeing any developer interest in denying that the mountainous levels of auto-dialogue we've seen today are anything less than standard-issue during the more cinematic moments.
I've watched the leaked beta for Sur'kesh though and the stuff cut out of it for the demo - all the scenes between landing and after the loading screen - were a lot better about it.

I wasn't being a "condesending jackass" but I will be now seeing as you were to me for NO REASON. Then when I call you on it, you crank it up further and act like I was being a jerk first, lmfao.
Seriously, you need help if you thought what I said was provoking in any way. You took optimist as some kind of insult? REALLY? where are you from exactly? Oh, once again good job on knowing it for a fact. Too bad you didn't say something like "oh hey guy, they have confirmed that these worries aren't needed because of so and so". But that would just make too much sense right. Instead of your "UH! I know im right but im not even going to bother to explain why" response you made to that guy prior. Why be informative when you could be a dick about it.

-forced to have 4 weapons on Sur'Kesh
-sometimes getting hit by enemies while completely in cover upset me
-the cover system, while improved from ME2 is still clunky and rolling doesn't seem very helpful.
-Sentry Turret going down incredibly fast on insanity at rank 4...but I guess that's to be expected.
-When fighting the atlas mech, when using the powerwheel the camera goes into this odd position facing below the ground, mildly annoying.
+The (heavy) melee system is incredibly fun and smooth.
+Earth was straightforward but I really felt that sense of urgency without the environment seeming cliche.
+grenades 1 hit killing, while frustrating, really discourages the campy behavior to survive insanity in ME2 and forces movement
+the sounds have greatly improved. I love the sound of the gunfire now in this game.
+the dialogue and banter between characters seems really on point this time around, especially when Wrex was involved.
I don't like the controls with the 360 but that's just personal preference; I just KNOW I'm going to feel right at home on insanity with the guns I want to use, key bindings, and a keyboard and mouse...cannot WAIT to try multiplayer and get the full game!

Then here's a good example of a dialogue that was cut from the demo:
**ME3 SPOILER DIALOGUE**highlight to read**
Random Alliance Lady: They're expecting you two, Admiral.
Vega: Good luck in there, Shepard.
Anderson: How'd it go in there, Major? / Lieutenant-Commander, how'd it go in there?
Kaidan/Ash: Okay, I think. Hard to know. I'm just waiting for orders now. / I can never tell with them. I'm just waiting for orders now.
You hadn't heard?
(1A or 1B)
Shepard1A: No, I hadn't...
Kaidan/Ash1A: Sorry, Shepard. It's been... well...
Shepard: That's okay. Just glad I bumped into you, Kaidan/Ash.
Kaidan/Ash: Yeah, me too. / Me too.
-go to end-
Shepard1B: No. I'm a bit out of the loop these days.
Kaidan/Ash1C: Sorry, ma'am/sir. Didn't mean to keep you out of the loop.
(2A or 2B)
Shepard2A: I'm sure you had your reasons.
Kaidan/Ash2A: Yeah, I suppose I did. Still, it's good to see you. / Yeah, I guess I did. Still. Good to see you.
- go to end -
Shepard2B: It's not like you learned the Reapers were coming and didn't tell me.
Kaidan/Ash2B: Right. / I suppose you're right.
Shepard: It's fine, Major. /It's good to see you.
Don't worry about it. / It's fine.
Kaidan/Ash: Sure/ True enough.
-end-
Alliance Lady: Admiral.
Anderson: Come on.
