 By watching the demo walkthrough on YouTube I can't help but notice how horrible the textures look (mainly the casual suit Shepard is wearing on the Earth mission). When they look horrible while watching it on a compressed YouTube video I can't imagine how awful they would look on my TV. Although I agree, graphics don't make a game but great graphics add to the overall experience. This is a thread about PC users, if we properly/kindly ask the developers on Twitter to release a high-res texture pack later on for the PC version, we would greatly appreciate it. Is anyone down on this? I'm sure mods will take care of textures but they require a lot more time while developers could do it faster.
Edit: Keep up the thread going guys but please try not to argue about stuff like consoles vs. pc's and other stuff that have nothing to do with this thread. Here are the links of the developers on Twitter in which you should kindly ask them if a High-Res texture pack is possible. I have been trying for months with not much success but if we do it all maybe we can get somewhere.

If many thousands of people e-mailed the developers in advance maybe they would have packaged it with the full game.

Fact of the matter is, obviously, not enough people bring it to Bioware's attention so it doesn't happen. Even if they're aware that it would be a nice bonus, they won't bother if only a small percentage of the players seem to want it.

Unfortunately, more people own consoles and there is simply more money to be made from them, when compared to the PC so it never receives much attention.

Almost all of my PC games are either on Steam or Origin. The only two boxed PC games I bought last year were The Witcher 2 and Batman: Arkham City. I dont' mind digital distro services and quite honestly, it beats heading out late at night for a mdinight launch.

if more developers downscaled the PC version of games for consoles instead of upward porting or doing simultaneous game construction, this wouldn't be an issue. It baffles me why this doesn't happen. It's easier to make something high-res low res than it is the other way around.

I fully support this. DA2 released a high texture pack for the PC crowd, why can't ME3 do this?

If they already have all the textures in high resolution it couldn't be that hard to make a high-res pack available for download. I don't know what else there is to consider.

See you guys already made a great point. If they're so lazy they could just release the textures and let the modders take care of everything else. This has nothing to do with the console version having more profit, they lose nothing by doing this.

Edit: I also want to add that we wont achieve anything by complaining on the forums, we need to do something but we need to do it together. It's the only way. I don't want to ask for a petition since it's not allowed on the forum but we can think of something.

I honestly do not care since I am a Console player....but....if this was 100% true they would release it especially since it would push PC players toward the game.
