I loved the cluster grenade. I use it for when I cant use my powers to clear the way of troops. Its a great addition to the Adepts Arsenal. Although Stasis would be nice too!
At what point could you not use your powers to clear enemies? I can see how it would clear things faster given its ridic damage, but outside the guy who can catch biotics I don't see anything stopping me from effing them up with my normal biotic powers.

Well in the demo given the slow cool down rate if there are tons of troops that are grouped together rather than waiting using singualrity or Shockwave I just hearl a grenade to give me more space to target specific targets using powers. If that makes sense?

He is on the xbox, you get 3 action buttons. So if you want to avoid the command screen you got 3 powers.

Ah totally makes sense to me in that case, but I suspect most adepts in play will travel light enough that this is not an issue.jackyboy666 wrote...

U can still get barrier
But then, I can't get Stasis or any other useful bonus ability.
I want my actual powers to be poweful and useful, not for some stupid grenade, that any grunt could lob, to be my most powerful ability.
Sounds like Liara really is the most powerful Biotic on the Squad now, followed by Kaidan (and Vanguard and Sentinel Shep) and the bonus squadmate with Adept Shep coming dead last.

Gotta say this has been bothering me since ME2 nerfed the Adept.
Feels like every other biotic class/character has been getting the love while the Adept is just left in the dirt and given redundant powers or ones that don't really feel like they fit the biotic specialist class.
Now, from what I'm reading here Cluster Grenades sound great and I will give them a chance, but it still seems off to have the biotics-only class given a grenade power

-Cluster Grenade
-Throw
-Singularity
-Passive ability
-Barrier or Warp (depends on how effective barrier is)
Weapons: SMG and pistol
In ME2 you could max out 5 skills. Does anyone know whether it's the same (or more) for ME3?

i think its 6 maxxed with a few points left over. someting like that.
id bet youll end up investing in fitness because the adepts heavy melee is awesome, and the wight increases will indirectly lower cooldowns too. im going AR only.

Then his argument sucks because the XBox has always had 3 action buttons, unless I'm being ignorant again :/Ahglock wrote...

Singularity -hotkey
Throw -hotkey
Shockwave -hotkey
Passive
Fitness
Barrier
Any points left go into pull.
I may need warp but am hoping to avoid it and cut down on use of the radial menu.
