 So I recently started playing Mass Effect 2 again, just to get all the possible endings and outcomes for when 3 comes out, and my main question involves some new relationship stuff. 

*Possible Spoilers* 

My current character is a FemShep who had a relationship with Liara in ME1. My plan is to romance Thane because I wanted to see how the whole love triangle thing would work out in ME3. My main concern is with the Lair of the Shadow Broker though; there's a way to rekindle a relationship with Liara in the DLC and I'm wondering what would happen if I did. If i do the DLC before the suicide mission and start something with Liara again and then start something with Thane or vice versa what exactly happens? That's even if I can do that.

If anyone knows or has any suggestions lemme know please.

"Players who romanced Liara in Mass Effect can continue the relationship in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC[i] pack for Mass Effect 2.

During the mission, if Shepard has cheated on Liara, she will reveal that she is aware of the other relationship. At the conclusion of the mission Shepard can either end the relationship with Liara, and Liara and Shepard remain
friends, or the relationship can be reaffirmed.

Even if the latter route is taken, Mass Effect 2 love interests can still be called up to Shepard's cabin afterward and relationships with them appear unaffected.

If Shepard did not romance other characters, Shepard will instead look at the picture of Liara sitting on the Commander's desk. This will not unlock the Paramour achievement."
