demos have to be under 3gbs on Xbox so they have to cut

The demo's only 1.6. So, it's not like they were crunched for space.

Demo size reads as 1.76G. limit is 2G...yeah, they are pretty much getting close to the limit there..and yes, there is little chance of the ps3/pc demo being larger/different than the xbox360 version.

Nobody is buying a xbox360 just for ME3 thus I would think everyone would already know that demo sizes are limited and thus, usually have features cut...

im glad i have a PS3 :P

It sucks for us all because I can tell you now the PS3 and PC version of the demo will be IDENTICAL in content to the Xbox 360 version even though there is no 2gb limit on the PC or PS3 services.

not quite. honestly i think Bioware holds a grudge against MS for leaking the demo and script. payback = PS3 getting a better game. thats the way i see it. hell it happened with ME2

If weapon customization is not in, then I'm positive that everything that you've stated WILL be in the actual game, seeing as we've seen WC in previous demos etc.

Yeah they hold that much of a grudge against Microsoft that currently the Xbox 360 saw an early release of the demo whilst PC and PS3 users are twiddling their thumbs.  Not to mention all the extra DLC content you can acquire which is only available for the Xbox 360 and not the PC or PS3.  So yeah I can really feel the grudge there from Bioware towards MS that is some payback they are getting

Seriously leave the fanboy stuff out of it, the only reason the PS3 version of ME 2 was "slightly" better than the Xbox 360 version (and even that is debatable) is because the PS3 version was released over a year AFTER the Xbox 360 version which meant they could take advantage of improvements in the Unreal engine for the PS3 version.

This time with both versions being released simultaneously I wouldn't count on the PS3 version being all that different to the Xbox 360 version.

Bioware shouldn't have to explain it. People should stop being moronic.

People arn't being moronic, sure the customisation ecy is self explanitory as to why it's not there but the lack of dialog choice is a genuine concern. It would take no effort for a bioware employee to put peoples concerns to rest, but so far no one has and longer it takes the more people will start to belive that there will only be two options on the right side of the wheel. This is a demo not beta, sure it would have to be cut down but it's odd that no one seems to be willing to touch apon the subject.

ME2 on PC was better than any console, period. The PS3's graphics are outdated.

But no, that wasn't what I was asking. What makes you think that ME3 will be better on PS3?

yea a demo with a bunch of cut content, that could still be included in the PS3 demo or not. and i'm not  doing fanboy, it's just fact. and all that exclusive dlc at the moment that 360/pc players will pay $20 for, PS3 will probably just get the DLC on the PSN store for like $1 to $2 :P like the Dr.pepper exclusives and the preorder armor and guns on ME2

Well of course ME2's gonna be better on the PS3! It was released nearly a year after they got it out on the 360 you moron! You'd really think they won't make changes towards it in that span of time?

Oh and, it has been specifically stated that the ME2 graphics in PS3 will set the standard for the physics engine used in all systems in ME3. So if you're trying to start a console war, I recommend you stop now. If not, then that's fine.

They cut a lot out of this demo. In an earlier version of the demo there was a part where you see the Salarians working on cloning female Krogans and it's explained how they all died. Mordin shocks a guy, as well.

They also had access to a work bench in the demo.

Here, again, is the thing. We, 360 and PC users, got the game before PS3 did. The PS3 version got it ONE YEAR later, with a updated engine & they decided as a marketing thing give you things you couldn't get (Dr.Pepper dlcs and pre-order stuff) and some DLC. The thing is now we all are on the same boat, getting the same demo now. There is no reason to give the PS3 anything "better" because they don't have to wait a year anymore.

I don't agree, but regardless, that's not what I asked you. I asked what makes you think it will be "better" on the PS3. What about the PS3 will make it better? What does the PS3 utilize that a PC, or possibly an Xbox 360, does not?

its not wat the ps3 utilizes, but what Bioware will want to do. considering it was MS who leaked most of the information of ME3 and as Bioware has stated bout how much that hurt them.
its not a matter of who has a better system or business, MS made it personal Posted Image

A bussiness does NOT actually care about something like this. Well take that back they probably do, but not thatto the point of not doing bussiness deals with them. The 360 was, orginally, the only one to have Mass Effect 1. So this could imply that the 360 is their targeted audiance...this makes sense bussiness wise. Why would they give everyone a better demo, just because one guy made a mistake at Microsfot? They understand mistakes happen. ALso it would be MORE effort (and money) to make another version of the demo just for PC and PS3. That, my friend, is a no no for a company and publisher. Cheaper to give everyone the same demo.

That really irritated me when I noticed they cut the section where you get to run around talking to people. Wrex had some awesome lines in the leaked demo (like my signature) but in the official demo it seems to cut straight from Wrexs' "Anything goes wrong and all bets are off." line to protecting the female.

That cut section was one of the parts I was most looking forward to. :crying:

So are you going to make any concrete statements here, with something to back it up, or just make the bizarrest explanation for why YOU want Bioware to make it better on PS3?

Give me something to work with, here.
