Alright, good. Here we go, this will be fun.
1. "Microsoft leakes ME3." I'm sorry. Perhaps you've never been to a corporation, or worked at one, but see, there are these things called people that work there, and they do the stuff. The corporation itself doesn't actually "do" anything. Thus, a corporation did not "leak" ME3. A person did. There's a massive, huge, gaping difference between the two.
2. "BW is Hurt." How exactly was BW hurt? The only way in which BW was "hurt" is when people realized that BW was losing their way with ME3, what with Cerberus and the Collector Base and the Counselor. And, that wasn't anyone's fault but Bioware.
3. "Bioware hurts MS." Again, how exactly did they "hurt" MS? They didn't "hurt" MS in the slightest. The demo limit is 2GB. They provided a 2 GB demo. Now, if they had provided a 1GB demo, you might have a point. But they didn't.
And, not only that, but how would that have hurt Microsoft? No one's going to change systems merely for a demo, and it's absurd to think so.
Try harder next time, buddy.
There you go. Refute away:)
Now, see, that's just poor form. You're supposed to at least read, it, so when you make your insulting comment it looks like you know what's going on. Here, you don't look like you know what's going on.LiquidLogic2020 wrote...
I envy you, I can only ever get that satisfaction when face to face with the idiot.
I guess it's just a gift, lol.
cut out of the demo seems to be a common theme

Well, if it's all about the end result, then here's where we stand:
You: made statement about Micosoft leaking ME3, hurting BW, and BW then hurting MS back.
Me: Refuted that with three points.
You: ...um...uh...brushed them off, I guess. And are making rather poor insults (you could really do better, if you're gonna make insults).
Your move, pal.

How are they invalid?
Edit: Just as I suspected.

1. this "single person" was part of a larger company, blame for his actions still go to his supervisors and his supervisors supervisors, leading to pretty being the companies fault
2. Bioware have this before, it hurt them because a lot of their hard work that wasnt even finished was shown to the world to be judged. the people who have read the leak and not liking where the game was going will probably not want to buy the game, effecting Biowares sales. Bioware hurt emotionally and business wise
3. the demo wasnt exactly what i was pointing too. a lot of the codes that are coming with the art book and what not, may already be included in the ps3 version of the game, or put onto the Playstation store for a mere $1 or $2 instead of having to spend $20 on a book or figurine
which i have stated in this forum already, which you obviously missed. meaning no new points, meaning invalid

1. "part of a larger company" is not the same thing as a company deliberately doing something like that. BW knows this. Apparently you don't. If you have a sixteen-year-old son and he robs a liquor store, will you be charged and jalied? Of course not. While it may have been your responsibility to keep your son out of trouble, the law (and BW in my application) understands that the actions of subordinates are not always aproved of by their "bosses."
2. First off, what does "Bioware have this before" mean? I really have no idea what you're saying there.
And as for their hard work being shown off before it was finished, this game was initially planned to come out in December of last year. Then it was pushed back. It wasn't pushed back because they needed to change the script, it was pushed back for multiplayer. The script is accurate, or at least was before BW saw the sh*tstorm and changed things.
3. "May have." That's not proof, not even in the slightest. I could just as easily say that, since we PC players are being saddled with Origin, BW is going to give us modding help and a toolset, and a DirectX 11 graphics compatability. That has just as much validity as what you're saying--there's no proof.

It's like people need constant hand holding and reassurance around here. "I didn't see this in the demo, are we sure it's in the final game?!?"
I guess no one can just wait and play the game when it comes out. They need a 1000 point list of features, all of which has been triple confirmed by high ranking Bioware officials and carved in stone just for good measure.
Not a direct shot at the OP but God damn what a needy community.

I've heard the cover mechanics could use some work and that aiming is weird out of cover. I'll be able to judge for myself on Tuesday.CerberusSoldier wrote...
since I am using the demo to judge the combat mechanics of this game its perfectly fine . This is 2012 and Bioware's combat better at least be better than ME 1 and 2.

The cover system just takes some getting used to because that button does a whole lot more now and you have to hit things acertain way to preform the action you want.

They already did attempt to put people's concerns to rest, it was in one of the previous threads. The problem is everyone here are so quick to open a new thread to vent that it just gets lost. Hell, I can't even find it, but both Chris and Jessica have commented on it in these forums, plus Mac Walters has also commented on it on twitter:LiquidLogic2020 wrote...

Bioware shouldn't have to explain it. People should stop being moronic.
People arn't being moronic, sure the customisation ecy is self explanitory as to why it's not there but the lack of dialog choice is a genuine concern. It would take no effort for a bioware employee to put peoples concerns to rest, but so far no one has and longer it takes the more people will start to belive that there will only be two options on the right side of the wheel. This is a demo not beta, sure it would have to be cut down but it's odd that no one seems to be willing to touch apon the subject.

Realistically it's all irrelevant though, considering so many people are adamant that the devs are liars.

so far the following are missing from the demo and yet all are presumably in the game (at least has been suggested)
1) a majority of active dialogue
2) dialogue wheel with more than two choices
3) interupts
4) weapon customization
5) hack/bypass
6) codex
So is it safe to assume that the demo is only designed to showcase combat - because everything else seems missing....I assumed the demo was to explore all aspects of gameplay but it seems everything but combat has been stripped out...
Lets be honest the demo is extremely brief, as you say its more to show of the new combat mechanics than anything else, I for one LOVED the improvements shown. Everything on your list is still in the game, the demo is but a small taste of this delicious cake. (Now I'me hungry for cake)

- there's no inside of the normandy!!! Perhaps it does not exist!
- there is no import shepard option!
- there is no galaxy map !!!!
- you can't choose your squadmates!!!!!
- the story is linear and wildly jumpy, straight from earth to surkesh!!
- there is no romance!!
And worst of all,
-THERE IS NO ENDING!!!!
The demo is sorely lacking in all of these, it must mean the game is too!

Continue deluting yourself. As the leaked beta clearly shows, the cut content does not contain more "choice" than the official demo. It has more cutscenes, more scripted dialogue and an (ONE) investigate-option (with a full investigate-wheel) when meeting a certain someone from Mass Effect 1 (if he survived).
And a German magazine published a preview of the Intro and Mars-Mission. Once you get on board the Normandy, you are directly heading to Mars for your first assignment (not much talking going on there). All in all, they sounded somewhat disappointed to me.
