Bwhahaha....seriously this speaks the truth. I'm the Shepard shaking my head wondering if I can just shoot them all and get it overwith. Except Tali and Garrus. I think they are the only people I'm really all that excited about in my squad again. They did too good of a job in making the squad central to the story in 2 people got attached.

Mass Effect isn't played for the squad, but the story. Mass Effect 3 is not about the squadmates, but about the fight against the Reapers, and it would be pointless to go after a character with an inferiority complex because he/she just happens to be an awesome individual in his own right. Mass Effect is a story, not a social club.

I'm pretty disappointed from what I've seen. I would of liked to have Miranda and Legion in there as well. But I can put that aside if there's enough content with them in there as well.

My original hope for ME3 was that Shepard would be fighting on different fronts. So a little help on Illium, Omega, Quarian fleet, Earth, so on and so forth. Each sector he would have the option to team up either with current crew or with some of the local resistance. So for example within the Quarian fleet Tali would be an option as squad member. This essentially would allow you to have a variety of squadmates as you travel around and fight off the Reapers.

Not only that, as the Reaper invasion is not "all about the humans," we'd get to experience the war on many fronts, different viewpoints. It seems ME3 puts humanity at the center of the universe, not unlike how America is consider the center of the world in Hollywood movies. A bit disappointing as Shepard didn't win any fight in ME1 or ME2 without a lot of help from non humans.

However, if the Reaper invasion is merely repelled from Earth in ME3 and then there is going to be a heap of DLC where you fight off the invasion in other areas of the universe....Well...That be a double serving of awesome sauce!

I'm aware of him and the other squad mate ^^. But if Legion was there i'd be fine. I dont give a crap at all about Miranda or Samara.Otherwise the rest like Thane, Mordin, "Jack.. im fine with them being cameo's.

Well, I played ME 1 and I disagree with you. The only squadmate that I liked in ME 1 is Wrex.

That's your opinion that the ME1 squad was better. Not everyone feels that way.
I have played ME1 and I don't agree with you at all. The only  liked was Kaidan. I liked everyone on the ME2 squad.

Played ME1 first found the squad to be pretty poor. Played, loved the squad and found them to be a major strength of the game. Me3 gone back completely to ME1's awful squad.

thats funny because I played ME1 and still like Me2's party quite a bit more

only characters I liked in Me1 was wrex and Garrus

Because, from someone who's played both games so far (starting in ME1 in '08), I enjoy the ME2 squad far more than the ME1 squad, with the exception of Wrex and Liara. Not counting Tali or Garrus since they're in all 3 (Which is retarded).

Heh I've been playingsince ME1 was released in Nov. '07 and I fully agree that I prefer the ME2 sqaud way more than the ME1 squad.
I also lost much of the love I had for Liara due to her character being so flippy floppy and inconsistent behavior.

If I had my way I'd have Samara, Thane, Jack, Miranda, Legion, Grunt, Jacob T. or better yet kick Jacob T. off and add Zaeed,  and add Garrus as the sole ME squad mate. I don't know what Garrus adds other than he's somehow naturally cool even Hitler thinks so.

That sounds really good I like Wrex being the Krogan King and putting him on Shepards team would IMO hurt the character. Also I like Mordin off the team in his role he has got going for him with the Genophage and all.

I wouldn't mind having Captain Kirrahe on my team. He's like Garrus just naturally cool.

I'm really disappointed with ME3's squad selection. It seems like, again, the only squad members I'll be able to enjoy are the ones from previous games (Garrus, Tali and depending on her personality, maybe Liara). 

No new aliens? really? And if Garrus and Tali are dead then the only alien on the team is Liara, who is also the most human alien <_<

Not to mention the fact that the LI's in this game are four humans and Liara... yeah I should probably stop now.

But seriously, not good. Hopefully they'll make up for it by having an interesting temporary Squadmate on every important mission.

Every romance from the previous games can be continued, so Tali, Garrus, and Thane can still be romanced.

The irony in this. I disagree, I found most squadmates in ME2 to be better. I do love the ME1 squad though, but IMO, I was more attached to the ME2 squad.

You can't start a new romance with them in Mass Effect 3 though. It wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that s/s was only added in this game, meaning that anybody who wants a s/s LI for their Shepard is stuck with a human or Liara (who was already available for that anyway).

The fact that his voice is Freddy Price Jr. makes Vega more of a joke. Freddy has this tiny voice and it only makes Vega more of a joke with his Roid Rage going on and a Tiny Voice. Oh let not forget his Fohawk hair style. Fohawks scream moron, ******, and I want to look bad but don't know how. But then that may just be me.

Now that I've heard Vega speak... My respect for the guy has gone up a point or two. Vega's POV of a new player coming into the ME universe, plus Freddie's voice just feels appropriate, if nothing else.

Dude are you on Crack! I have played ME1 and I personally believe that most of ME2 squad are signifficantly more interesting than the guys from ME1.
