Oh why didn't you just say: we removed this feature for everyone cause consoles couldn't handle it.

i thought it was just ps3 that 'couldn't handle it'

So Xbox 360 and PC players get screwed over because the PS3 has this really awkward configuration? Yay for "fairness".

Its also a complete lie, clearly ME2 had holstering on PS3 so this excuse just doesnt work!
I wouldn't go that far as to say it's a lie: It's about the RAM. There are a lot of new animations with the new cover-rolling, taking up some space. Plus the ladder-climbing. May doesn't sound like much, but then again it's just animations that have been removed.
But yes: It would be nice to have that feature back in the game, if the system you play the game on has the required RAM.

I agree
But on a brighter note, incendiary ammo and other ammo powers dont show up in the cutscene's anymore. I dont mind the look while in combat cause im looking at my sight not at my gun, but i
hated the way it looks during cutscene so... cartoonish imo

I hope it can be fixed because I think holstering is part of what makes the game so immerse and good
I've seen countless of reachouts to the devs before, and it suffices to say; it never works. We will not see holstering in Mass Effect 3.

It does sometimes. Just ask the Talimancers, who got their desired LI in ME2. Still, with stuff like this...no generally not.

I'd much prefer to carry the weapon by my side in a combat zone while there is no combat, as I said earlier, exploring a combat zone with arms stretched carrying a weapon constantly is rediculous.DarkPsylocke26 wrote...

It's the little touches like this that add a lot to immersion. The developers simply don't seem to realize that. I, for one, always holster my weapon when there are no enemies around. And I would love to see that feature reimplemented.Nauks wrote...

After playing multiplayer, I noticed the exact same animations are used in it. Since you can't holster your weapon in MP, I am now less surprised that it isn't possible in the SP. They likely never bothered trying to add it, to begin with.

Can you imagine the uproar if pc got the feature and consoles did not, they paid for the same game.Fyk0 wrote...
I didn't read whole thread but can't they patch that to PC version? I have 8gb RAM, I'm quite sure my PC can handle that tiny thing, what affects alot to immersion.

Why not add Holster option for PC version? I'm pretty sure everyone have more memory in their PCs than Consoles.Brenon Holmes wrote...
It's unfortunate, but sadly it was needed to claw back a significant chunk of memory.
