*POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!*
As it was shown in a game infromer from a month or two ago there is a choice there is the choice of if you will cure the Genophage or not (presumably giving you either the Krogan or Salarian's allegiance in the war I'm guessing) however it sounds like in either choice you make Mordin sacrifices himself to spread the real or fake cure.

I want to take a giant dump and give it to bioware with a note that says "you spent time on adding new stupid features to grab a new audience well telling your original fans that ME3 will be the best game in the series, and adding said stupid new features and sidelining all ME2 Cast is your idea of making this the best game in the series? That is rather shi!tty so here is a heaping steaming pile of sh!t just for you as my way of saying..... Sincerely a Loyal Fan of Mass Effect since E3 2006"
I'll try to write that in several bullets... just kidding (or not?).

As to having killed Tali and Garrus and not getting replacements being "fan wanking" ... how hard was it to keep them alive? Seriously? You gather them up, you do their loyalty missions and you don't make dumb decisions with them ... They don't die. Simple. You don't even have to pretend to like them or use them for special assignments. Use Legion as the tech guy and ask someone else to lead the fire teams. You have enough redundancies to do that.
If you got them killed anytime beyond the very first, you were either trying to kill them on purpose or are dumber than a box of rocks. And if you now know that you need them alive and you don't go back and replay your save game ... that's all on you and no one else.

I mean, an experienced asari commando against the innocent archelogist.
My choice will be Shiala. I find her more interesting than Liara, and she was serving Benezia for 200 years. She is the only character in the whole serie who overcomed indoctrination.

Shiala's a really minor character that for some reason has an enormous fanbase while Joker's one of the main characters, did you really think she'd appear more than him?Biobleh wrote...

Frylock23: I'll keep it simple for you, kiddo:
- If Tali and Garrus die = no replacements; gameplay handicapped
- If any other ME2 squadmates die = placeholders available; slight plot changes; gameplay not handicapped
The logical choice therefore for any sensible gamer who isn't looking for 'hardmode', is to keep THOSE TWO alive. And it just makes the whole concept of a SUICIDE mission (where, you know...not everyone is supposed to live) all the more stupid.
When BW sets up ME3 to be easier for players if they kept THOSE TWO alive than if they didn't, that, my child, is fan wanking.
Get outta here and finish college.

Those who have access to the art book , hit up page 137 for jack's new look (she's using guess bandage dressings as underwear).
My hope is we'll have more characters as DLC later . But I've got a sad feeling that our Salarian/Krogen fix will be in the multiplayer only variety. Anyway, in 4 weeks or less we'll know for sure <_<

I'm not a fan of Miranda, but this is an exaggeration.

Also:
-The place in the art book
-Huge redesign and alot of work from artists
-Minimal plot-relevance
-Balance to the squad, e.g. there seems to be 3 new ones, 3 ME1-ones (VS is 2 characters) and 2 ME2-ones. (technically) Add Jack and you get balance.
-Cerberus hate
-Stark contrast to Ashley and similarity to Vega.

I would like to at that players who killed Ashley wouldnt have a human female in the squad at all. And players who killed Kaidan and didnt buy the CE would only have one biotic squadmember. Both seems strange to me and Jack would solve everything.Hillbillyshep wrote...
The leaks definetely mean more, but BW did change alot of things after them.

The way I see it:
Nonoptional Squadmates: James (Combat), EDI (Tech), Liara (Biotic)
Optional Squadmates: Garrus (Combat) Tali (Tech), Jack (Biotic)
Kaidan or Ashley as I nice bonus.

That is a good point, which i forgot!
I myself have Ashley and i don´t like Liara.
Jack and Prothy are gonna be the only biotics i´ll use.
