Australian women are used more often in games (GOW) with the exception of Sam Worthington in Black Ops. I'd love for Hugh Jackman,Russle Crow or even Sam to do some work in Mass Effect. (Who remembers Chips Dubbo from Halo?)
Who doesn't remeber Chips Dubbo? "Dear Sarge, kicking ass in outer space, wish you were here."

And yes, I'm Australian. The premise of this thread is so stupid it's hurting my brain. Why not Indians? Croatians? Kazakhs? Thais?

Yes, they were excellent at getting killed during both World Wars. Australia only became a self-governing country in the 20th century, so ''through history'' doesn't really apply here. Unless you count Aboriginal history of sitting in the mud and playing on their Didgeridoos. The Australian Soldiers have been known through history as excellant
Shock Troopers
There is a huge amount of other nationalities not ''represented'' in Mass Effect, some from countries who do have a history to speak of, so i would be glad there is the one chick and shut up.so why is there only one Aussie in Mass Effect.

Plus, yes we are a relatively young country, but doesn't mean we don't have a history, especially in military terms.

As for the "exclant at getting killed" quote, your lucky I'm not near you, you wouldn't be able to see out either eye. Australian soldiers are man for man better trained the American soldiers.(I have high respect for American troops) Second, americans hold record for getting most killed (Vietnam) australians were excellant fighters etc battle of long tan, 1000's of N vietnamese against under a hundred Aussies, outcome? 100's N vietnam dead and the rest retreat, 13 aussies dead after almost an entire day fighting. Third, shock trooper means we would scare the **** out of our enemy with our toughness and bravery. Yes it is true many died at Galliploi, but that was due to BRITISH mistake, yet we managed to gain a hold on the beach and fight till we were ORDERED out by British. By disrespecting my people you have only hurt yourself....I feel sorry for you.....( I'm an Australian soldier)Spaghetti_Ninja wrote...
