Yeah, and there were several thousand more of them for the days before the Achaemenids found the route around the Hot Gates. And there weren't a million Achaemenid troops there. And the allied Greeks lost anyway.

Well growing up in a country which was meant to be a penal colony and being prosporous proves were tough. New Zealanders rule too I wasn't being sarcastic. Australia has a strong military history in small comparison to ancient spartans, sure were small and America, China and others could overun us, were would sure as hell take down a lot of them with us.

Actually, he's being too modest. Mr. Hayha would probably put the Spartans to shame. I mean seriously, the guy's KDR was hovering around 700+:0. Doing at least 10:1 would probably get you banned and accused of wall, aim, or speed-hacking in any modern FPS these days. If anyone got above that, let alone anywhere close to 700:0, they'd probably be banned so hard that the world will taken notice - Men would quake in their boots, trembling in fear of such a virile and mighty specimen. Women will magically loosen up, wanting the guy's junk, because seriously, who wouldn't, in the face of such a mighty Adonis?

Yes, they were excellent at getting killed during both World Wars. Australia only became a self-governing country in the 20th century, so ''through history'' doesn't really apply here. Unless you count Aboriginal history of sitting in the mud and playing on their Didgeridoos.
