I see we do have a rogue "Staff Lieutenant" in there and now I see what this discussion is all about, there is no rank of Commander what the **** was Edmonton thinking with this ranking system. I am glad my Shepard is "no longer part of the alliance military at all". =)

Chalk one up to writing while bored. I visit the Mass Effect forums once in a blue moon, so I have no knowledge of what's common parlance or an annoying retread here. If anyone is *really* bothered by the comment, I apologize. Honestly though, it felt apt after reading pages of mostly pointlessly pedantic discussion rooted in presumption. I nuked em both but that is not the issue. My issue is that I got better voice acting from both actors reading the horizon letter then from either of them in ME1 or 2. The characters come across as apathetic and uninspired, that is why comments like this are made.
