Dude, WTF are you talking about? CerberusSoldier was going on about how he's gonna kill the VS ASAP, and I said he'd better hope the game doesn't punish that in a way he doesn't find tolerable. Don't know where you got the notion this was about the morality of in-game actions.

I had considered that maybe Ash was its Commanding Officer while Shep was grounded but I'm pretty sure Shep would take command based on his/her experience fighting Reapers and though promoted I think Shep is still superior in rank or has more time at his/her if they're the same rank now.

Think about it; they took the time to redesign the Normandy. Do you think they're going to throw us out of it? I'm sure we'll stay in the Normandy. As for Rank..I think even Ashley has to admit Shepard is 10x the soldier she'll ever be.

Um aren't Ashley and Shepard the same rank in the Alliance or Shepard is ranked higher..I don't remember which.. But regardless Shepard could be a Spectre too so they'd be exactly the same in all regards except Shepard is 1000 times more awesome. Your argument is invalid

With Shep reinstated, he and Ash are the same rank, but I can't really see Ashley attempting to override Shepard's orders or compete for the crew's loyalty. Besides, most of the squadmates(Liara, Garrus, Tali, etc.) are loyal to Shepard, not her.

Because I did not take it in a super serious manner. While I think the cat suits were lame, and I think shepard should be in command and someone with mass might as well, I saw what he wrote as a subtle lampooning of these threads and the super serious angry nature that people seem to be when posting in them. Maybe he was serious and was nerd raging with the best of them, but I did not read it that way.

Anderson tosses Shep his dog tags at the end of the Earth mission and says he's reinstated. I'm thinking that's military. Nevermind the odd fact that he got them as a gift from Liara in LotSB. Different dog tags? Anderson stole my tags, man.
