I remember everyone getting worried about Mansell doing the soundtrack and Wall leaving. I think we can now officially say.

Ah yes, 'a bad soundtrack'. We have dismissed that claim.

I wouldn't say that yet, considering we don't know how many tracks he contributed to the game. Remember that there are at least 4 other composers who worked on ME3 (one of them being Sam Hulick, who was a big part of Wall's team).

Agreed That VA trailer was the first thing that got me excited for ME3 and it was mostly due to the music.

Exactly. Mansell didn't do the entire soundtrack, Sam Hulick and some of the composers from the ME2 DLC's worked on this as well. The only thing I've heard that's apparently from Mansell were the two piano themes. Sam said that the demo featured music from all of the composers.

Back then, we didn't know that Hulick and the others were on board too.. I'd say the worrying ware justified. 

Nah, Mansell is alot more experienced than Wall albeit on the more movie side of things. And plenty of people at the time demonstrated that Mansell could do both Techo style and classical very well (look at Pi, Moon and Requiem for a dream) but people kept on worrying as usual.

No one expected Mansell to do the whole OST by himself anyway, Wall never did. Actually rarely does any lead sound do the entire soundtrack solo.

Mansell might not of composed it himself but he would of had alot to do with it's production. As head of the soundtrack production, it would of been his job to oversee and monitor the OSTs that the other's produced. As well as deciding who was doing what and how it would piece together in the game.

They were all equally great to me.

N7 unboxing is in there. 

The VA trailer track and music from the 'Customisable Arsenal' and 'Interactive Storytelling' videos on the ME website are missing though.

I liked track 28 the best, seems to me it would be the song that plays during the credits.
