Just had to add that Track 12 in that originally-posted playlist has some really beautiful, very dark grooves—sounds like a wonderful ambient track. Breathtaking.

Wondering where some of these will go. 12 is really dark, but some of the other tracks (Track 6 in that playlist?) might be fitting for Mars combat music? Who knows…

Also, there are several very dark, moody, forboding pieces. Officially wondering if Tracks 12 - 16 are Mansell's work or not because they sound almost nothing like the previous Mass Effect soundtracks. Seriously impressive stuff. I loved ME2's fusion of orchestral and synthy pieces, but ME3 sounds like it's going to take us to some brutally (beautifully) dark and/or very dangerous places, literally and figuratively.

Nobody has commented yet on how amazing Track 20 is.

So I feel obligated to say that it is amazing.

Forget it, it's all good. Some of it's a little formulaic, but it's background music of course. Other tracks are absolutely gripping to me. March 6th is impossibly far away now.

The first track is heard on the list, it's just that it's cut into two videos, one hearing only 1 minute of it, another hearing the rest of it.

Just noticed I had the CE unboxing music and Sur'Kesh combat track from the demo as the same video, based on what people posted in the thread.

They do sound similar, perhaps they were the same thing?

Yep, someone posted that above - almost all of the tracks are already included in the 38, and the one that isn't consists of two tracks put together. 

At this point I think the only other music we've heard is in the VA announcement track, the interactive narrative marketing video and the one on a customisable arsenal.

Was just reading this interview with the composers:

They mention using Arrival's main theme in ME3, and I thought that sounded pretty familiar to some of the tracks in the playlist.





It has a really nice martial theme with the drums that adds an edge to the whole track.
