ME2 has improved combat and visuals, but writing, pacing and many RPG elements suffered heavily compared to ME1. That is reality.
There isn't a single thing you can say and do that will change it. Deal with it.

There is very little in common with the mindless action that is Transformers. Don't belittle what Bioware has done simply to appease the "it sucks now" crowd.

Yeah, ME2 was a one big side-quest about pokeballing people for fight a race of space bugs that wasn't even a threat to the System Alliance, if anything, the main quest started with Arrival, at least there you do stop the Reapers from reaching the galaxy.

ME2 is still a fun game, but I'm expecting something more than shooting things, if the story sucks again then I'm going to be dissapointed.

I thing from from technical point of view me3 is better than me1 and me2

Storywise me1 was better than me2. Mass effect 2 was all about squad,
Mass effect 3 we will see. It looks like it will be more linear like me1, and they don't need to care about me4 so there are less restrictions

I think I know what you are getting at, but from my perspective it's too late for a golden ending since the reapers are already killing/taking millions from earth each day, but if they do have a "ride's off into the sun set" ending, then I'll kill someone to avoid it if I have to. "shudders"

I don't wont to read all thread, but to be honest  mass effect 2 and 3 combat wise is like gow with magic->biotic .
it has to be sad  gow is a great game and one more thing unreal engin 3 runs mass effect 1,2, and 3 lol.

playing the early demo, imo this game will be a huge success.
the demo is much better than 1 and 2 combined and that's just a small part of the game.
