Hello, i am new to this forums and i only joined because i have an audio problem (Wich i couldn't find via google on these forums).
Well, let's get to the point, i am playing Mass Effect on PC and after i installed the 1.02 patch something weird is happening, every time i load a game a LOUD ambient sound appears, doesn't matter where i am. And it is really loud, louder than any other sound in the game, and is an ambient sound of a ship or something, as you can "hear" the silence and some beeps normally attached to ships. This is anoying, and i just tried to start a new game, and it is present in the intro where you can see shepard looking at the earth and you can hear Udina and Anderson talking about the background choices...
This is anoying, and it didn't happen until i updated to 1.02
I have Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 with 2.20 Ghz on each core.
An Nvdia GeForce 9500 GT 1 GB DDR2 (A classic on my opinion, tough i wanted 9800 but it isn't in the market anymore)
I have a Realtek Sound card, not sure of the exact model or anything. Just that is called Realtek HD Audio Output by the computer.
and i have a single Ram card of 2 GB DDR2 (I don't know anything about it's speed or anything...)
And i have an ASUS (Wich model i can't remember right now) Motherboard...
Any toughts? And if you need me to give you any other info just tell me how to get it and i'll post it here.
Btw, sorry if i make no sense or my grammar isn't good enough for you, i am from Argentina (we speak spanish here) and i learned english on my own...

The problem fixed itself on it's own after a few reboots, not sure why... Anyways, thanks for atleast reading this post, i'll inform back if it happens again
Still, after the update all textures where of the lowest level, even on ultra high, i had to manually change the LOD settings (You know, like to fix garrus) for textures to appear at max definition.
