Like I said in another thread, everyone who hadn't played Arrival and read Conviction would feel confused without a trial. I really hope there's still one. I can't help but wonder if it could have been scrapped just to clear more room for the multiplayer.

But mulitplayer was developed by a seperate Bioware studio. If your talking size wise maybe.

I just bought this new gaming magazine (it's local one called Pelit), it talked about the trial too in it's "preview" section. So maybe it is in the full game.

Well they dont want shooter fans who dont like the series to be bored now. Why put in some boring old dialogue when you could just explosions...shoots...BOOM

Straight up. I will NEVER buy another Bioware game again if the dialogue in this game is the way it is in the demo. Nonexistent and automatic.

"I'd stake my life on it". Im pretty sure sense it was a demo they had to dumb it down.

The big nuke of disappointment is going to land directly on your house and leave a devastating crate of pain, anger and nerd rage

But the most devastating effect of this is the radiation of pessimism and cynicism that will span among many generations.

I suffer from it, the radiation dammaged my dna so badly that I started to digg into the Mass Effect 2 story, and discovered it made no sense, or even better - that it never existed in the first place. Then the dammage went deeper, as I played Dragon Age 2 and I practically could feel my dna chains shift from it...

Now my children will be cynical wankers down to the third generation thanks to BioWare.

Size wise maybee we should talk about the standard Microsoft DRM that takes up to a gigabyte of space from x360 discs?

I'm dissapointed, but it's no dealbreaker.

Here is where I would fly in nerd rage: If the game had some riddicilous timer, and because of it you couldn't do all the side missions and get the best ending. THAT would eat me up.

I've never said this before, but I would not purchase another bioware game if that were the case, I don't play games to be rushed through them., in reality with the earth already under attack you don't have the luxury of time, but this is not reality, this is entertainment.

Knowing how misleading and wrong he can be with almost anything that comes out of his mouth, I'd say he was referring to the part in the demo where Anderson and Sherpard meet the Defense Committee as the trial.

I'd wager my money that you are right, but I won't... since then I would have nothing to buy food for.

I agree. I mean I would propably buy BioWare games. Buuuut, I'd be majorly dissapointed too.

And upset. They would basicaly waste a lot of content with that, because players would just skip everything they could.

Not to argue with Priestly, but I would have sworn one of the others said it wasn't a trial so much as a hearing. More of a chance for Shepard to explain him/herself, not a courtroom with lawyers, a judge and jury...

Even this would be completely okay.

That's good enough for me. I wasn't expecting a really formal trial anyway.

I don't know about everyone else but I'm expecting some sort of tense trial/hearing were they obviously ask difficult questions to shep.

And whats about all the hatred towards the me2 intro im seeing in the forums? If you hate me2 intro no way you will enjoy this one

I hated the me2 intro at the time - not because it was bad - but because of what happened.  I had just finished my first ME1 playthrough when I started ME2, so I was very much emotionally tied to my shepard & the crew of the Normady SR-1...ofc once the main game started it all made sense so I was happy again.

From my understanding, ME3 does start during the trial, it's just that the trial happens offscreen, and the action starts during a lull in preceedings....will be interesting to see - roll on Tuesday & then roll on 8/3.
