I'm fairly optimistic. I enjoyed the demo, and the storyline looks like it'll be a good successor to the first game's story.

It will have it's issues. Still, I'm quite optimistic. I would credit my expectations for that attitude.

I'm a pessimist, especially knowing what happened to Dragon Age 2...And YES I know that Mass Effect has a different development team...But still.

Optimist. The combat was fun, and I really enjoyed the demo. At this point the -only- thing that can ruin the game for me is if Liara has a scripted death. In which case I will be more depressed and angry than I have ever been with a game.

I'm a more of a realist with optimistic tendencies.

I've enjoyed both the story and combat of both ME1 and ME2, making me sure I will enjoy ME3.
Part of my optimism is from low standards and my lack of the mentality of how the devs somehow owe me and should make the game entirely to my standards. As long as the story is good and the gameplay is enjoyable, I am happy because I've seen first hand how rough game developers have it. Their job is rough and very taxing at times, which makes me appreciate what they made even more.

Anyone play Two Worlds? The game was a train-wreck, but my mentality and my focus on what the devs did do rather than what they didn't made me see that it had a lot of great ideas in the game but the game was entirely not even worth $10 to me.

Optimistic. ME2 was a lot of fun and surpassed my expectations. Just from the demo bit alone, ME3 has already proven fun and surpassing my expectations. So, yeah. I think it'll be amazing.

Optimistic - I really enjoyed all the classes in the demo and will play them all in the main game. I enjoy the story part of any game but gameplay is more important for me. On this basis me3 is already looking good. The jury is still out on the story but I have confidence in Bioware based on the previous 2 games. Why would they drop the ball now?

Pump your brakes son, are we talking about Bioware as a whole? Or the Edmonton studio? Because gamers will never forget the unspeakable DA2 cruelty.

Pessimist. Life has not been kind to me, it has forced to me to get used to disappointments and has left me very bitter and jaded. How does this relate to ME3, I hate the current confirmed ME3 squad.

Realist.

The game so far looks great, both from the demo and the revealed content. Some little things will take some getting used to but they aren't game breakers. I know I will get my $80 dollars worth.

I really don't like it when people here use DA2 a benchmark for low quality, a lot of us actually enjoyed the game.

And I'm definitely an optimist, Mass Effect 2 is my favorite game of all time, and I'm sure Bioware did a great job.
