Pessimist, it's just the way the games being marketed (oh look explosions! Slow motion! Awh a kid died isn't this game just the pinnacle of emotion!). I know it's stupid to take too much heed from it but I can't help but feel that we are going to loose what was left of the exploration ect that ME2 was scarcely present in two. I've typically had full trust in bioware but after dragon age 2, well... Hopefully this just means that im going to blown away and proven wrong on launch though!

Dragon Age 2, the horrors :bandit:. Oh ME3, if I wanted to play a Gears of War knock off, I'd go play Gears of War....

I'm a natural born pessimist so should the game end badly if it were real life chances are uber high but this is a video game so naturally you will win the game.

I'm an impatientist.

Just want the final product in my hands already so I can finish this fecking series and await GTA5. Running over prostitutes in sports cars never gets old.

I know I'll be dissapointed in some things, but they won't be enough to irk me or completely ****** me off. I'll have a blast with the rest, like the other Mass Effect games.

Totally pumped because I know I will end up liking it net result at the minimum.

GTA 5 will be cool but I am way more excited for ME 3.

As per usual just weeks prior to any new release, my excitment has faded. It's always like this. Think it's a built in defense mechanism that saves me from feeling dissapointment if it turns out to be trash.

Growing pessimist.

The facial animations look rushed, amateurish and like corners have been cut and the dialogue is simply terrible. "We've looked all the data you've collected, but it's all just theory to us." Really? The data pad Joker handed me at the end of ME2 showing the Reapers en route was forged? My helmet cam conversation with a Reaper was "theoretical"? Oh wait, Shepard was so stupid that he/she didn't learn from Virmire and still just hoped everyone would take him/her at their word...

Sorry Mac Walters, if you were the lead writer then I can't say that I'm impressed. At least with Drew there was consistency and 'plausable' reasoning...

They couldn't get into any actual story/plot and good dialogue at the start because that would have gotten in the way of all the "wizz-bang"...

On march 6 I will be sitting down, buckling my seat belt and enjoy the ride. The game is the final installment of a game trilogy that has surpassed all my expectations. So yeah I am pretty optimistic.

Not sure.

Origin basically stops me from buying it. I'll borrow my nephews xbox copy months down the road though.

Ignoring origin though I am an optimist. I think they screwed some things up sticky/cluster grenade, too much overlap in biotic powers, weapon weight to power recharge balance blah blah. But overall the gameplay seems improved the enemies seem to have a better and more aggressive AI, a wider range of enemy threats, etc. The only question really is the story and how that works out.

I'm rather Optimistic about it, I'll get upset about a few things but thats to be expectted (no game is perfect anyway), but that won't stop me enjoying the game as a whole

You can afford to buy it on Origin, but refuse to do so...but have to wait months to play it on Xbox? Why not just buy it for that platform instead then?

Optimistic.

So far, Bioware hasn't let me down. I even enjoyed DA2 quite a lot, though I know some people didn't.

Very optimist, after playing the demo I do love the gameplay so much more than the previous games. Naturally if I didn't enjoy the game play I simply wouldn't play the game, that's always been a rule stood by when I drop money on a video game or decide to drop my money.
