Optimist.

The one and only thing that I've heard about the Adept that I didn't like was the misprint on the Mass Effect Wiki that claimed that Throw was no longer a part of the Adept's biotics.

Absolutely everything I've heard that is concrete sounds awesome, even Shockwave.

Suffice to say I'm looking forward to it.

Funnily enough, I found the reworded "we fight or we die" in the demo far less cringeworthy than I thought I would.

I think saying that's what we're going to do rather than saying that it's what the plan is made it sound much better/

What would people expect him to say in that situation?  "Oh the reapers are here now let's ponder the meaning of life while they kill everyone"

There really isn't much you can say without oversaying anything or sounding silly.

Pessimist, but I'm hoping that this bad attitude will be a counterweight to how good the game will actually be.

optimist....i don't have all the nitpicky issues that some have on here, half the stuff posted i just ignore anyways, because i really don't care if somebody with way too much time on their hands wants to tell me the reasons shep should have done something else or something was done wrong.....if the game entertains me for 40 hours, doesn't have anything broken and finishes up the various story lines (LI's, NPCs we've done missions for, rachni queens, etc) i'll be happy

After playing the demo, count me in as a pessimist. The gameplay was awful. Movement was off, Shepard won't stay in cover properly, the Tech Armor and Mattock were super-nerfed into being worthless, and those guys with the shields were way beyond annoying. Also, the gun sounds are terrible.

I am kind of surprised by how disappointing it was.

I'm pretty excited for the game but I'm still on the fence. The recent flurry of Bioware releases hasn't really got me hyped. From being told that there was gonna be a series of bridging DLC between ME2 and ME3 (with the brilliant LOTSB building up the hype) to that being abandoned and ending with a lackluster Arrival, it hasn't been very bright. DA2 followed that and we all know that ultimately turned out. Then after that, we have Deception. A novel supposedly to help hype up ME3, just blew up in remarkable fashion.

Pessimist....demo has me nervous. Dialouge options were minimal - no codex - Mac seems to still suck as head writer.......and when you kill Husks they no longer explode, but just fall to the ground limply.....argh

Im optimistic i just hope they fix the normal movement speed its annoyingly slow.
