Is this by the same company who made that Liara Bishoujo statue?

No, that was Kotobukiya.

This is Square-Enix.

Jeez I just cheeked the their Website and on average they sell the figurines for 50 bucks. I hope I won't have to bust the bank if they plan on making every squad mate.

Omg yes finally!

Been hoping for the day that Square would make ME figures. Have a few of their figures already can't wait to add to my collection.

God, those will be stunning when painted.

The articulation, the detail, but dat price. Hnnnnng. Oh, it will be steep. Still, what a pleasant surprise this all is. I had no idea that they were farming out the license, and to a manufacturer known to make amazing (looking) figures.

That's pretty rockin'.

Nice ones! Finally some good ME figures.

But wait, these are Action Figures or Statues?

Anyway, hope they be released soon, and Shep really needs to get his head fixed.

Hope we see some DA:O in the future!

I wonder what size they are? I'm hoping for 6-9" range. I liked their version of Ezio from AC but it was like 14" and I didn't want something that large.

That's the problem with Play Arts. There is not a consistent scale whatsoever. But they most definitely won't be in the 6-7" range. They've never made figures in that scale. I would bet on a 9-10" scale, but as i said, you never know.

Will they make a FemShep, or will it just be the Kotobukiya bishoujo statue? *weeps softly*

Garrus looks good (aside from dual wielding), Ashley looks rather surprised but still good, but Shepard... that legs made me realise I'm hungry.

They all have alternate hands. The pistols look to be attached to gripping hands.

Having purchased many Play Arts stuff, you could always see if your local comic shop would have a different price, also I find they drop in price as time passes.

Oh, how I would be all over a FemShep version. Ah well, I don't need to spend more money on toys.

Squeeeeeee!
Finally, Ashley in the form of a statue, and Garrus and Shepard. The perfect trio.
I'm in. I totally am buying these. Don't care how much sex I don't have as a result of owning them!

Shepard's head is tiny and Ashley doesn't look at all like Ashley. Garrus looks good though.

They're not statues. They're highly articulated action figures.

Either way, still good.

DAMN... the Kai figures are usually retail around 55 bucks a pop, more or less depending on where you pick them up. I want that Ashley figure if only because I havent' seen any plans for her in the Big Fish line up.

They won't be in scale with those figures though. The Play Arts figures are big.

I really like that Garrus. Interested to see how it looks when they put together the painted prototype.

So, is this like a one time thing?

Can we get some more? Because those sculpts are fantastic. At least Liara, and Wrex? And others deemed important enough at a later time? I'd love to see what kind of crazy detail they could pour into a Krogan.
