Great idea putting it all together.
Kinda worried about letting the Rachni Queen live, hopefully it won't bite us in the ass.
And I didn't do a few side missions in ME1 or the DLC.
Done all the DLC for ME2 though.

Nice overview. that is pretty much exactly what I am doing at the moment, Rereading ascension ATM, the only thing I do differently is that I play ME2 to the part where Shep meets Liara on Illium and gets to ask her about the Shadow Broker and Cerberus, That's when I pause the game and reread Redemption. I'd read it between the prologue and Sheps resurrection but there is no way to pause the game so I read it like Liara's flashback which should work well I think.
Also, be sure to keep a save game right after Horizon so you can load it up before arrival and redo the breafiing with Hackett at the proper time. It's a shame we can't mod the trigger for the dlc.
